Six-year-old Dannielynn Birkhead has just landed her very first modeling job as the face of Guess Kids.

Dannielynn is the daughter of the late Anna Nicole Smith. The young model has lived with her father, Larry Birkhead, since her mother’s tragic death after a drug overdose in 2007.

Dannielynn fronts the Spring 2013 campaign, wearing next season’s denims.

In a behind-the-scenes video on Entertainment Tonight, Mr Birkhead is nothing but proud of Dannielynn, who bears a strong resemblance to her late mother.

He reveals she was a natural in front of the camera, and ‘needed very little coaching’.

But perhaps it is in her genes: Anna Nicole replaced Claudia Schiffer as the face of Guess in 1992, so little Dannielynn is following in her mother’s footsteps.

Guess creative director Paul Marciano said in a statement: ‘Dannielynn has the same playful spirit that her mother had on a set.’

Model and one-time Playboy cover girl Anna Nicole Smith died in February 2007 after a prescription drug overdose, just a few months after Dannielynn was born.

Her death sparked a fierce paternity battle between several former lovers, including Mr Birkhead and Anna Nicole’s former lawyer, Howard K Stern (who was named on Dannielynn’s birth certificate).

A DNA test confirmed that Mr Birkhead was the biological father of Dannielynn in April 2007, and he has since retained custody.

Speaking in the Entertainment Tonight video, Mr Birkhead said he was proud of Dannielynn.

He added: ‘I know that Anna’s looking at this and seeing how great this will be.’

Amanda Seyfried appears in the December issue of Vanity Fair, and what a gorgeous photoshoot it is! Amanda is promoting her two new movies, ‘Les Miserables’ and ‘Lovelace’. In the photo shoot, which I’ve included, the beautiful actress poses in outfits by Dior, Elie Saab and Valentino.

There was a short interview that went along with the pictures. Here are some excerpts:

On shooting Mean Girls: “Back then I thought every movie that was made found an audience and things were all stars and butterflies,” she sighs, “before I developed a relationship with this world.”

On working with Hugh Jackman in Les Mis: “There is nothing bad to say about Hugh. He isn’t human. I bet you anything he’s got some kind of superhuman capabilities, beyond just being just the kindest, gentlest soul I’ve come across.” Plus, she says, he has a wildly inappropriate sense of humour, which she shares. Together they invented alternative story lines that transformed their characters’ tender relationship into something altogether less innocent, like the old Renault “Papa!” and “Nicole!” ads gone wild. “We sexualized everything as much as we could. It was really funny, the moments we could find . . . It’s like every movie has another version, another satirical version of itself.”

On the challenges of Lovelace: “We were doing a scene where I was supposed to be going down on Peter Sarsgaard. We used a popsicle, and I had my arms covering the popsicle. It was footage that he was going to show the Deep Throatguy, to get her into the movie, to get her cast. I was laughing hysterically throughout. I couldn’t stop laughing.”

I’m excited – MORE than excited – to see ‘Les Miserables’. Unfortunately I’m not terribly excited to see ‘Lovelace’, I just have a bad feeling about it (but I sincerely hope I’m wrong). Maybe it has something to do with the fact that Lindsay Lohan was their first pick – and then they went with Amanda? When Lindsay’s your first choice, you know you’re in trouble.
