Katy Perry’s personalized fingernails at last night’s VMA’s!

You may have noticed that Katy Perry wore custom Minx nails to the 2011 Video Music Awards last night as she accepted the Video of the Year award for her powerful single, “Firework.”   If you look closer at Katy’s Minx, however, you will notice that her nails had great significance.  Each nail shows a tiny personalized image of a record at the nail bed, symbolizing each of the five hit singles from her “Teenage Dream” album that propelled Katy into music history.

Los Angeles celebrity nail stylist Kimmie Kyees designed the custom Minx, using a black and white-checkered background to contrast with the blue and pink-labeled records that had “Katy” and “Perry” written on them in script.  Katy Perry is the only woman in the history of Billboard to have five songs from the same album at No. 1 on the Hot 100.  Michael Jackson is the only other artist to have achieved this.

Kimmie Kyees is the same nail stylist who applied the custom “Russell Brand” Minx to Katy Perry for her VMA appearance last year.  Minx nails is a solid nail coating that is available in salons and spas around the world.

A New Perfume Promises to Make Men Flirt With You!

Brought to us by the “Early” Show, Eau Flirt claims to be “clinically proven” to make men flirt back with its wearer. The product’s advertising alleges that the fragrance will “cast a spell without a word.”

Eau Flirt was developed by Harvard grad Shaan Hathiramani through a series of focus groups and blind smell tests. The scents used, pumpkin and lavender, released “strong positive scent associations” among the male testers.

Although there’s no scientific evidence as of yet, “smell tests” conducted by CBS showed that the unique perfume came out victorious when put up against Chanel’s legendary No. 5.

What do you think can a fragrance really make men flirt with you?

Eau Flirt

Introducing the first perfume that flirts for you!

It starts with whispers…“Who’s that girl?” The irresistible and flirty fragrance of Eau Flirt captures the imagination of the entire room with the subtle, sexy allure of flowers and spice.

“What’s her secret?” Lean in closer. The fragrance contains notes of pumpkin pie and lavender, which have been shown to evoke a more passionate response in men than any other smell. Why do men find these two scents so arousing? Experts believe men subconsciously associate pumpkin and lavender with happy, positive and stimulating memories.

An encounter with Eau Flirt reveals top notes of sweet lavender and a cocktail of bright citrus, followed by a mingling of feminine florals freesia, ylang ylang and jasmine. Delicate spices and warm nighttime amber offer a graceful and balanced flourish.

Notes: Lavender, Pumpkin Pie, Citrus, Jasmine, Freesia, Ylang Ylang, Nutmeg, Cinnamon, Ambers
Style: Seductive. Sparkling. Feminine.
