Justin Bieber was in the UK last week to promote his new album ‘Believe’, and his fans went absolutely nuts. They waited outside his hotel, rushed his car, you name it!
Fans were so desperate to attract their idol – that the ran out – and within 3 hours of him arriving in London – bought out his new fragrance, ‘Someday’.
The fragrance, described as ‘playful, fresh yet flirty and anything but ordinary’ was said to be ‘irresistible’ by the star himself.
The Fragrance Shop, who rushed to restock the scent, said that in the days surrounding the star’s visit to the UK, they saw a record breaking rise in sales of a massive 500 per cent.
Spokesperson for the brand Daniel Thompson said: ‘Someday has been in our top 10 best selling celebrity fragrances for some weeks but we never envisaged the effect that Justin Bieber arriving in the UK would have on sales.
He believes the boom in business is due to Justin Bieber’s loyal fanbase – known as Beliebers – wanting to attract the Canadian popstar’s attention.
Thompson continues: ‘Our stores up and down the country have reported packs of Beliebers snapping up the fragrances in a bid to get noticed and have their bottles signed by the star.’
According to reviews, the fragrance starts off with notes of mandarin, pear and wild berries, continues with fresh notes of jasmine and creamy florals and ends with warm hints of vanilla and soft musk.
(So maybe this is not the actual Robot, more what I think they should look like)
Panasonic’s Head Care Robot has sensors in each finger that measure your head, allowing it to customize the shampooing experience for each users head shape, it even does long hair!
The experience gets underway with a spritz of hot water and pre-lathered shampoo, which is said to limit the amount of suds needed to wash the entire head and reduce chafing. Conditioner is sprayed on as a mist for uniform coverage. A special nozzle enables washing long hair as well as short, ensuring there’s no discrimination against hairstyles.
And, as if getting your head washed from a 24-fingered robot wasn’t relaxing, the final stage of the shampoo comes with a robo-massage as the machine blow dries your hair. “This is extremely relaxing and offers a degree of comfort that users cannot experience with human hands,” Panasonic explains in the promotional video below.
To give the Head Care Robot a try, hop the next flight to Nishinomiya, Hyogo Prefecture, Japan, where it is getting a trail run at Super Hair Seo in Nishinomiya until early June. Once the trial is over, the company aims to commercialize the technology for the care of handicapped and elderly people.
If your local salon had a robot that could wash and dry you hair would you give it a try?
Khloe Kardashian has always been open about her battle with her weight. But now, the 27-year-old reality TV star posed for Life&Style’s cover, showing off her trimmed body, with the title “How I Got Thin Fast!”.
Apparently Khloe dropped 20lbs in 20 days! How’d she do it? Apparently the TV star is eating a healthy diet, which is prepared for her by a personal chef. She’s also been working out alongside her NBA husband, Lamar Odom, and his personal trainer.
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star has spoken before about how difficult she finds it to be compared to her more petite sisters, Kim and Kourtney.
She told Us Weekly magazine last year: ‘They are 5-foot and 5-foot-2, so I look massive next to them. Everyone expects me to be 9 feet tall and weigh 200 pounds when they meet me.’
She has also said in the past: ‘My weight is always going up and down. I’m always fighting that and I feel like no matter what I do, I don’t look good enough to everybody else.
‘My weight is my biggest lifetime struggle. It’s not the biggest thing in life, but it does get you down sometimes.’
Man, what I wouldn’t give to have a personal chef, eh? I’d be much healthier too!
