Ipsy Glam Bag March 2014 Review

ipsy-Glam-Bag-March-2014

This post contains affiliate links.

I am only on my second ipsy Glam bag but I am LOVING them. I am still shocked each month that its only $10! This month’s theme is Destination Beauty, my ipsy Glam bag for March contained travel-friendly products to help me create the perfect look. Oh and every ipsy collection comes in a cute little makeup bag this months super cute bag was designed by Klari Reis.  So far the ipsy collections have really top notch products and the little makeup bags are so cute I would probably pay $10 for them alone.

Check out what came in this month’s bag:

14963205
Pixi Flawless Beauty Primer ($9.00 .4 fl oz)
This wore more like a highlighter cream, I love the soft glow it gives my skin. It absorbs well and doesn’t leave my face feeling icky. It has a beautiful peach shimmer and is great for brightening up my skin.

nyx love in rio

NYX Love in Rio eyeshadow palette ($5.99)
NYX Cosmetics Love in Rio eyeshadow palette in Segredos De Giselle . I love the compact and the colors look really cute but this one fell a bit short of my expectations. The shadow was soft and easy to apply but had so little pigment it was barely visible.  I swiped each color for my swatch 3 times to get them to show up. Good for a very natural look, but a little on the pale side.

chelle eyeliner pen

Chella liquid eyeliner in Indigo Blue ($24.00)
By far one of my favorite items in this months bag and I got a full size pen, retail value $24! This pen is amazing its really pigmented and has the most delicate felt tip liner. Even with my shaky hands it was easy to apply and the color lasted all day. I love the midnight blue color, it has enough color to brighten up my eye without being over the top. Can’t wait to try more from this brand.

bareminerals ipsy march 2014

Bare Minerals Marvelous Moxie Get Ready lipstick (.5 oz sample .12 oz $18)
Love this lipstick! I am a huge fan of Marvelous Moxie lipstick, and this might be my favorite shade to date. Its a gorgeous rose shade that is really moisturizing and leaves my lips with a bit of shine.  Since I opened this I haven’t used another lip color I love it so much. I love how great it feels on my lips and the staying power is a huge bonus.

I am so happy I signed up for ipsy. I have tried a lot of subscription services but can honestly say this is the best priced, with the best products. This month’s bag was fantastic the retail value not including the cute makeup bag is $45 so you are getting a great deal for $10 .  The NYX Palette wasn’t my favorite but I am really loving the rest of the collection.

Santorini? Yes please.  It’s definitely on my must see travel bucket list. I am a huge fan of Korres and can’t wait to check out their new collection!

April 1st, KORRES Natural Products will introduce its NEW “White Grape from the Vineyards of Santorini” collection, featuring a moisturizing showergel and smoothing body cream, transporting you and your sense to the Greek island of Santorini. Santorini is the most popular destination in the Mediterranean with its sparkling Aegean blue sea and Cycladic white houses.

The new collection is infused with white grapes indigenous to Santorini. The grapes are cultivated in the arid volcanic ash rich soil of the island. This ancient vine variety goes back 400 years and remains phylloxera-free. It grows on its own roots with sea mist water, which drifts across the island at night.

Each of the new products offers a distinct, naturally sweet aroma, influenced by the volcanic soil and the sea air. Also, the scent has notes of green apple, floral, citrus and peach for the ultimate Greek Summer sensorial experience!

SANTORINI SGEL 400ml

WHITE GRAPE FROM THE VINEYARDS OF SANTORINI SHOWERGEL ($19.50): Soft moisturizing showergel, ideal for everyday use. Wheat proteins form a protective film on the skin, maintaining its regular hydration level.

SANTORINI B.BUTTER 235ML

WHITE GRAPE FROM THE VINEYARDS OF SANTORINI BODY BUTTER ($29): Smoothing and moisturizing body cream, ideal for dry elbows, heels and knees. Kim Kardashian’s New Cut

kim-kardashian-02

Kim has always been known for her long dark hair. Yesterday she surprised everyone stepping out with a new shorter do. I never thought I would say this but I actually really like it.

Whether its a new cut or she took her extensions out, I think it looks great. Now if someone could get her to stop with the duck face pose.

Check out her new cuthere, let us know what you think.
