Murad’s Essential-C Cleanser is refreshing!

IMG_4574

To go along with my newly-purchased moisturizer (below) I also picked up Murad’s Essential-C Cleanser! I love this stuff. It is so invigorating, so refreshing! The soft, gentle cleanser has these little beads of citrus that just wake your skin up!

Patented antioxidant-rich cleanser using Vitamins A, C and E neutralize and rehydrate environmentally damaged skin by removing impurities and awakening the senses with a burst of citrus.

Antioxidant Vitamins A, C and E neutralize free radicals and other environmental aggressors while Phospholipids bind moisture to the skin. Essential-C Cleanser establishes a well-hydrated foundation for application of a treatment product.

Massage a small amount over dampened face and neck. Rinse with warm water and pat dry. For optimal results, follow with Essential-C Toner and Essential-C Daily Renewal Complex during the day.

Like all of their products, a little goes a long way…. so $36 ain’t bad if you ask me!

Review: Murad’s Essential-C Day Moisture SPF 30

IMG_4573

I’ve loved Murad’s products for as long as I can remember. I’ve used many of them – each with different benefits. After I ran out of my moisturizer last week, I headed to Ulta to find something new. I settled on Murad’s Essential-C Day Moisturizer, which is supposed to help clear up my sun-spots while moisturizing!

Shield and restore environmentally stressed skin with next generation Vitamin C and Murad’s patented Skin Repair System to improve radiance, firmness and elasticity while protecting skin from sun and free radical damage. Protects and strengthens skin against environmental aging.

Benefits:

  • Blocks UVA/UVB rays to prevent sun and free radical damage.
  • Improves skin’s barrier function to maintain optimal hydration
  • Powerful antioxidant-rich sunscreen shields and restores environmentally stressed skin.
  • Next generation Vitamin C and the patented Skin Repair System improve firmness and elasticity.

One of the main things I love about this moisturizer is it takes very little to cover your face and neck, PLUS it absorbs quickly!  It leaves your skin feeling refreshed and healthy!

Not bad, right??

MAC announces Miley Cyrus as the new face of Viva Glam!

miley-mac-glam

Miley Cyrus is the new face of MAC’s Viva Glam campaign! Color me shocked!

I’m actually surprised it’s taken this long. If anything screams Viva Glam – it’s Miley. What do you think of their collaboration?

For the last 20 years, MAC’s Viva Glam campaign has been teaming up with passionate celebrities to create capsule collections of lipsticks and glosses that raise funds and awareness for HIV/AIDS programs (every cent of the sale price goes to the cause). Now, Miley Cyrus joins the ranks of Rihanna, Nicki Minaj and Lady Gaga as the latest spokesperson for the campaign, which launches in January 2015 with a hot pink lipstick and sparkly gloss.
