Extend Your Summer Glow with Anastasia Beverly Hills!

I would show you the before photo but my camera refused to capture that look!

I lucked out with an end of summer cold, besides the sniffles I was starting to look like I live under a rock.  I had a last minute invite to girls night I couldn’t pass up. Dinner and cocktails heal all right? My only worry was  how I was going to hide the look of a nasty head cold. Enter a beautiful gift that arrived in the mail from Anastasia Beverly Hills.

I started with the Highlighting Crème Duo, I love how light it is and how it instantly brightened my face. I have to say the blush shade was a little on the light side but I loved the creamy texture. Then to add a little color I swept the Ilummin8 Bronzer on my T zone and under my cheek bones. Low and behold I was starting to look like a real live girl!

The piece de resistance was the HydraFull Gloss. At first glance I thought the color was pretty but it was just another gloss. Well that must have been the Nyquil talking this stuff is AMAZING! The color wasgreat but the real benefit of this gloss is how amazing it feels on my lips. My lips get so dry in the summer with the sun, wind and outdoor activities and a lot of my glosses seem to only make it worse. Within minutes of applying HydraFull Gloss my lips felt smoother and really hydrated. I noticed hours later my lips still felt soft even after the gloss had faded. I am really excited about this gloss if you know me prepare for me to hold you down if need be to make you try it!

Get The Look: Jennifer Garner’s Silver Smoked Eyes

I just love Jennifer Garner, she looks absolutely amazing!

If you’re looking for a way to refresh your go-to smoky eye, try swapping out the usual grays and sables in favor of a silver hue like the one Jennifer Garner wore to the premiere of The Odd Life of Timothy Green. To get Jennifer’s look start by rimming your upper and lower lash line with a metallic pencil. Once you’ve created a shimmery outline, top it off with a richer, more concentrated shade of silver. The metallic will work best with a simple swipe of black eyeliner and mascara. Don’t be afraid to let your color wing out – you can also dab the hue below your lower lash line for a sultry effect.

Check out butter LONDON’s gorgeous new colors!

butter LONDON is thrilled to share the Autumn/Winter 2012 lacquer and LIPPY collections!

Sequins! Velvet! Satin! Tweed! This season, the catwalks were abundant with rich texture! The brand translated this to nails through the infusion of glitter particles and metallic and holographic finishes. The colour tones speak to “earthiness” but are not specifically earth tones – think rust, shimmering greens and silvers. This collection feels future-forward but not futuristic. This season is all about using texture to add interest and depth to your look!

These products will be available while supplies last through QVC.com, the QVC apps or by calling 800.345.1515

The polishes above are so freaking cute I can hardly stand it! I immediately put on “Brummie” the gorgeous Violet color below. I can’t wait to try out the rest!!

Rashida Jones

Face & Cheeks:
“I started by buffing mark Min-A-Real Cream-to-Powder Foundation in Medium Dark onto Rashida’s face. Next, I dabbed mark Just Pinched Instant Blush Tint in Peachy all over, followed by mark Matte-Nificent Oil-Absorbing Powder in Medium Dark to reduce shine. Then, I applied mark Good Glowing Custom Pick Powder Blush in Cameo Glo to her cheeks and mark Touch & Glow Shimmer Cream Cubes All Over Face Palette all over her cheeks and cheek bones to create a gorgeous shimmer. I set the look by lightly dusting her face with mark Bronze Pro Bronzing Powder in Bronze.”

“I started by applying mark Mini Mark It Stick Hook up Stick for Eyes in Cocoa Bean onto Rashida’s lid, followed by the darker shades of mark On the Dot Neutral Eye Color Compact on her lids and the lighter shades into the crease. Next, I applied mark What A Line Felt Tip Eyeliner in Wee Hours and then Brownie Points on her upper lash lines, creating a cat-eye effect. I lightly lined her lower lash lines with mark Mini Mark It Stick Hook up Stick for Eyes in Cocoa Bean along with mark No Place to Run Longwear Eyeliner in Foxy Brown. I finished Rashida’s eyes by applying mark Lash All You Want High-Volume Mascara in Black to her top and bottom lashes, concentrating on the upper outside lashes.”
