Michelle Williams also goes platinum blonde, and it’s not nearly as disastrous!

elle-COVER-570

Yesterday we showed you Kim Kardashian’s horrific platinum ‘do, and today we’re happy to see that platinum doesn’t have to be such a disaster!

Thirty-four-year old actress Michelle Williams landed the April cover of Elle UK looking fabulous as ever.

The Montana-born star is set to appear in next months’ WWII-era film “Suite Française”, which is a major departure from her days playing Jen Lindley on “Dawson’s Creek.”

Photographer Kerry Hallihan snapped Williams in Louis Vuitton on the cover of the mag and in a series of other drool-worthy looks for the editorial. Though the clothes are amazing, it was the blonde beauty’s short, platinum ‘do that we couldn’t stop staring at.

What do you think of Michelle’s look? Stunning, no?

Introducing Kim Kardashian, the “Platinum Pimp”!

kimplatinum

All anyone is talking about today is Kim Kardashian’s decision to dye her black hair platinum blonde. The horror!

The reality star paid a visit to the L’Atelier Blanc salon in Paris over the weekend and received this shocking new shade. Just in time for Paris Fashion Week!

In an Instagram selfie, Kim said, “It’s hard out here for a platinum pimp! Thank you @FredericMennetrier for touching up my blond.” (I wouldn’t exactly call that blonde!

Kim revealed to PEOPLE exclusively that her decision to dye her signature brunette tresses was inspired by a pop icon.

“I’ve always had this image of Madonna with platinum hair in my references folder on my computer and I’ve been waiting a long time to try the look,” she told PEOPLE. “I thought what better time than right now for Paris Fashion Week.”

And while we’re waiting for Madonna’s response to Kim’s new look, another platinum pop star shared her own feelings about the star’s hair — Miley Cyrus. The singer reposted a photoshopped picture from her colorist Justin Anderson, which shows Miley doing a crying Kim’s hair. (Beauty is pain, right?)

Would you go platinum blonde? I think it just looks so bizarre. I’m not a fan.

How ’bout you?
