What can fifteen minutes of screen time in an Oscar award-winning film do for a girl?
Actually, what can it not do for a girl? After making a splash on the international circuit in Slumdog Millionaire, Freida Pinto is rumoured to be the new face of the cosmetic giant Estée Lauder. If the deal is finalized, Freida would be the first Indian to be the face of the brand, joining the ranks of Elizabeth Hurley and Gwyneth Paltrow.
Freida’s Indian spokesperson does not deny the news of Freida being the new face, saying, “Estée Lauder hasn’t commented so far, so we can’t say anything currently. Nothing is in black and white as yet.”
From walking the ramp for Dolce and Gabbana alongside Scarlet Johansson at the Milan Fashion Week in Italy to bagging a role in a Woody Allen film, with Hollwood stylist George Kotsiopoulos by her side, Freida is everywhere. She’s also been on numerous magazine covers like Entertainment Weekly, Vanity Fair, Maxim, Vogue and Cosmopolitan. It is amazing what fifteen minutes of screen time have done for this 24 year old debutante.

GET THE LOOK: “I wanted the makeup to reflect Leighton’s beautiful and effortless dress,” says makeup artist Christopher Colbeck, who created this neutral-toned look on Leighton Meester. “We decided to keep the colors very soft and subtle with notes of cooler tones.”

INSIDER TRICK: Colbeck kept to the following neutral palette of products: Lancome tinted moisturizer, Chanel bronzing powder, golden sand Dior eyeshadow and icy beige M.A.C lipstick. He finished the look “with a light dusting of pearly white shimmer powder on the cheeks, eyelids, shoulders and legs to complement the cooler tones of the look.”
I love that Dior palette! Okay, I love any Dior palette. I wish I had money, I’d buy this right now!
$56.00 – BUY IT HERE!
These scans are from the latest issue of InStyle Magazine. Leighton looks amazing! She’s a natural beauty!

She may have been in one of the world’s most romantic cities, but it was no lazy Sunday for Scarlett Johansson, who joined Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana yesterday at department store La Rinscente in Milan to launch the design duo’s debut color collection, The Make Up. And as the face of the much-anticipated line, Scarlett drew a buzz-worthy crowd. WWD reports that more than 1,000 fans turned up to get a glimpse of the design stars and their muse. And the actress, who has also modeled for Louis Vuitton, revealed to reporters that posing for the ultra-glam campaign was all about using her acting talent to channel a persona, “And who doesn’t want to look like the femme fatales from the Forties and Fifties?” she said. Yesterday’s launch wasn’t the only Dolce & Gabbana event creating a stir. On Friday, a coterie of Hollywood fashionistas including Kate Hudson, Eva Mendes, Freida Pinto and, of course, Scarlett hit the label’s runway show and VIP lounge, and tonight even more stars plan to turn out for an exclusive Extreme Beauty in Vogue launch party for the event.
Look at her shoes! I haven’t seen those before…hmmm.

Halle Berry wades through the surf in a cotton dress verging on transparent and relaxes in a revealing crochet dress looking every inch the alluring star.
She knows how to play a role – and when it comes to launching your own brand of perfume – that has to be nothing short of stunningly sexy and available.
The 42-year-old becomes the latest in a long line of celebs to promote their own line of fragrance – but hers has taken more work than most.
She has spent two years coming up with the scent, a woody smell and image are meant to evoke memories of the beach.

Halle told the WWDBeauty website: ‘(Before my fragrance) I was mixing other brands that shall remain nameless to make my own scent with fig and mimosa.
‘With Halle, I added olibanum, which is an African root, which brings spice to the fragrance, and sandalwood, which smoothes everything out and makes it yummy.
‘It’s very sensual, very natural, very much reflective of the outdoors.’
The top notes of the scent are Sicilian bergamot, fig leaves and pear blossom. It also contains notes from freesia petals, hibiscus flowers and mimosa.
In between making perfumes and movies, Hall has been caring for her 11-month-old daughter Nahla with her Canadian model boyfriend Gabriel Aubry.
