Morinda TruAge Therapy Gel

age therapy gel

TruAge Skin AGE Therapy Gel get to the base of the issue to prevent damage and leave you with beautiful, younger looking skin. Did you know that virtually every sign of aging is cause by glycation? In layman’s terms AGE damage (glycation) occurs when excess sugars in the bloodstream bind with proteins in the skin causing stiffness and inelasticity, and impairs the skins ability to protect itself. Who knew, naughty sugar was at the base of all my issues. Why oh why must sugar taste so divine if its so bad for every part of me. Well except my joy levels.

Good news we don’t have to shun sugar forever, Morinda TruAge Therapy Gel is a lightweight gel that not only reduces AGE Damage but also reverses the signs. I have been using this for just about a week on my face, neck, chest and hands and I can tell you its already changing my skin. Along with my skin being more hydrated its much smoother. Can’t wait to see the  improvements with continued use.

Morinda TruAge Therapy Gel $42.00
is a skin care gel that reduces and reverses AGE damage in the skin. That means fewer wrinkles, age spots, fine lines and more. And with its blend of natural ingredients, AGE Therapy Gel also soothes, repairs and moisturizes stressed or damaged skin, giving you a more youthful and vibrant appearance.

It does this by targeting glycation. If there is too much sugar in the body, protein molecules can cross-link with sugar molecules.1 Once this cross-linking process has occurred, the new sugar proteins are called advanced glycation end products (AGEs). The human body does not recognize AGEs as normal, and will produce antibodies that cause inflammation in the skin. Once formed, AGEs tend to gravitate toward dermal collagen and elastin 1.

Benefits:

  • Protects – The topical TruAge Max blend is compromised of ingredients that create a protective barrier against AGE accelerators such as free radicals, environmental damage and moisture loss.
  • Soothes – Oat kernel extract and beta-glucan provide a soothing effect on skin, reducing redness and irritation, as well as helping to strengthen the skin’s barrier function.
  • Repairs – Carnosine has been shown to block AGE damage, protect minor cuts, scrapes and burns, and relieve dry, chapped skin. It also protects and relieves chafed and irritated skin.

Clairol Nice ‘n Easy’s new Hair Color Ambassador is…

CH Clairol Red Ad - Low Res

Clairol Nice ‘n Easy announced Christina Hendricks as their Hair Color Ambassador today!

The famed Madison Avenue redhead Christina will appear in ads starting in January 2015 to inspire women nationwide to “shift a shade” to find their true, natural-looking hair color, just as she did with Nice ‘n Easy years ago.

Here are some fun facts about Christina and the partnership:

  • Christina wasn’t born a redhead, though with Nice ‘n Easy hair color, it’s often believed to be her own. Naturally dark blonde, she was first inspired to color her hair by Anne of Green Gables — another of the world’s most iconic redheads.
  • Christina shifted to red early in her career for an Italian editorial piece using Clairol hair color for its natural-looking results. She chose to stick with the brand ever since!
  • Her hair color resulted in her landing the biggest role of her acting career to-date: “Red” AKA Joan Holloway in Mad Men.
  • While the title “Hair Color Ambassador” is new to Christina, she is no stranger to the brand. She was a model for Miss Clairol in the 90s and always keeps her Nice ‘n Easy shade in her beauty box for easy touch-ups.
  • She applies Nice ‘n Easy 6R Natural Light Auburn herself at home.
  • Clairol and Christina are encouraging women to shift a shade to find their true hair color, just as she did with Nice ‘n Easy.

Allison Williams stuns on the new cover of Glamour Magazine

2474A73D00000578-2899217-Cover_Girl_Speaking_to_Glamour_as_she_covered_its_February_issue-a-106_1420573190254

Who’s excited for season 4 of ‘Girls’!? I am VERY excited, to say the least! I hope this year is more…. funny…. but I’ll watch it anyway.

‘Girls’ actress Allison Williams landed the February 2015 cover of Glamour Magazine, and she’s never looked better! The 26-year-old opens up about her upcoming wedding to fiance and College Humor co-founder Ricky Van Veen (the two have been engaged since February 2014).

Allison told Glamour that she’s planning ahead for her future.

“I have a lot of questions: How do I get to a place in my career where I can go be a mom for a little while, and then come back and be a mom and an actress at the same time?” the 26-year-old TV star wonders.

Who gives her advice? “Every time I find a woman in film, an actress who has kids, I, like a sociopath, corner her and ask, ‘How did it work?’ Everyone says, ‘Don’t think so much.’ [Jemima Kirke], from Girls, is always saying, ‘Just get pregnant! Just have a baby.’ And I’m like, ‘You are so much cooler than I am.’ I love what I do, but I have no doubt that when I start my family, that’s life. This is my job, but that’s life.”

For now, Williams focused on playing Marnie on HBO’s Girls, which returns for its fourth season Sunday. She’ll star in the series for “as long as they’ll have me,” she says. “I would never ever get sick of playing her, because there is no sense of ‘Oh, I’ve done that already.’ It’s all new—new scenarios, new feelings.”

Williams has guest-starred on FOX’s The Mindy Project and played the titular role in NBC’s Peter Pan Live!, but she has yet to appear in a movie. Of course, that’s also on her to-do list. “The number of scripts that take my breath away are few and far between,” she explains to Glamour. “There are some that are gorgeous, but I want to play all the male roles in them. I always ask, and I’m always told no.”

Finding the right roles—on TV, on film and on stage—is important to the relative newcomer. “I have vague EGOT goals. Who doesn’t?” she asks. “I have zero of those so far, so I have a lot of work to do.”

Focusing on achieving her career goals has helped Williams to ignore her hater, whose criticisms aren’t limited to her acting abilities. What’s her biggest gripe? “Being analyzed about my weight drives me crazy. It’s easier to say, ‘Oh, she must be anorexic and depriving herself,’ than it is to say, ‘She might have a fast metabolism,'” she says. “I deprive myself nothing. But that’s an annoying thing to say, right?”
