Check out what came  inside my Total Beauty Collection for HSN box:

Definitely a great collection in this Total Beauty box. A few products I am already obsessed with and a few new items that I can’t believe I was living without. Check out below to see what my favorites were.

One tube of Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara (.17 OZ) – 100% saw more dramatic volume, 100% saw longer lashes, 90% saw a dramatic look with one coat. I am all about makeup that is quick and easy, and if it looks like I spent time creating my look? Even better!  Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara is truly a standout a great volumizing mascara it leaves my lashes looking long and fuller and the formula even curls them! Talk about multitasking. And this mascara stays put all day no clumping, flaking or fading

Wei East China Herbal Intensive Eye Treatment Pads (2 pads) – With 72 potent Chinese herbs. For puffiness and dark circles. I have been seriously lacking in the sleep department lately and my eyes are showing it. Yesterday my eyes were killing me so I put these little pads on  and laid down. I ended up taking a wee 30 minute nap and when I got up I felt great and my eyes looked much better. The pads are cool and moist and felt great on my skin and I could see an instant improvement in the puffiness under my eyes.

EiyseeYouthspan Enviro-shield Tinted Veil ( .25 OZ)- Lightly tinted.  This tinted moisturizer  has anti-aging properties and when applied a very faint color and shimmer. Its barely noticeable but it did make my skin appear brighter. As its a sample I can’t attest for the long term anti-aging benefits but it did feel nice and light on. A nice product but nothing I will add to my must have list.

Serious Skincare Glycolic Gommage Exfoliating Facial (.50 OZ) – A deep cleansing, micro-polisher that smoothes, lifts and tightens the skin’s overall appearance. With sensitive skin the word peel always scared me a bit but The Serious Skincare Glycolic Gommage Exfoliating Facial did a great job without irritating my skin. It has a great tea tree scent which I love but if your not a tea tree scent person it might be overwhelming. It left my skin soft and smooth without irritation, definitely a great choice before a heavier night cream.

One tube of Trish McEvoy Eye Base Essentials  – Upper eye brightener and shadow primer. I am all about eye primers with darker skin around my eyes its a necessity to get my eye shadow colors to stay true. I really like the Trish McEvoy Eye Base it really brightened my eyes and after testing with a few shadows it helped all of them stay put all day long.

Perlier Shea Butter Hand Cream (1 fl. OZ) -  With sweet almond milk. I love the Sweet almond milk scent and this lotion did a great job moisturizing my hands. It’s definitely on the heavier cream side so this is perfect for keeping hands smooth or healing chapped, dry skin in winter.

Carol’s Daughter Monoi Oil ( .1 fl. OZ) – Sacred strengthening serum for stronger hair. Ahh I love Carol’s Daughter the scents of these products are amazing. This is a great strengthening oil for dry and damaged hair its very rich and you only need a very small amount to really cover your hair.

M. Asam VINOLIFT (.33 fl. OZ) – Skin Tightening Cream. I haven’t tried a lot of skin tightening creams so I wasn’t sure quite what to expect. The Vinolift went on easily and absorbed well but I noticed you have to use a very small amount or it can leave your face feeling dry.

One sample tube of benefit POREfessional  – To minimize the appearance of pores. I have been a fan of POREfessional for quite awhile. This ultra lightweight cream goes to work instantly to hide my pores and smooth out my complexion. I love how light it feels on my skin and it works wonders to hide my pores.
The Total Beauty Collection for HSN will be available soon. This is a can’t miss collection just the Better Than Sex Mascara and POREfessional alone make this box a steal.  You can also check out other Total Beauty Collection boxes available now at www. TotalBeauty.com

Get The Look: Michelle Dockery at the 2013 Emmy Awards

65th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards - Arrivals

Michelle Dockery Emmy Awards 2013
Outstanding Lead Actress In A Drama Series Nominee, Downton Abbey
Look by Jordan Long for Laura Mercier

For Dockery’s 2013 Emmys makeup look, makeup artist Jordan Long was inspired by a series of stunning watercolors painted by the artist David Downton in the January 2013 issue of Vanity Fair. In order to complement the classic femininity and clean lines of Dockery’s custom made Prada gown, Long kept her makeup very minimal, focusing on her glowing skin and strong brows.

FACE: Flawless, glowing skin
• Long first prepped the skin with a moisturizer, eye cream and Laura Mercier Lip Balm, ($20).
• Next, Long applied a fine layer of Laura Mercier Silk Crème Foundation in Soft Ivory, ($45), using a damp sponge. Then she used Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage in SC#1, ($32) to conceal the skin only where needed.
• She then brushed Laura Mercier Crème Cheek Colour in Oleander, ($24) on the apples of the cheeks. In order to give Dockery a subtle glow, Long mixed Laura Mercier Secret Brightener, ($30) with the cream blush.
• Next, she applied a light dusting of Laura Mercier Invisible Loose Setting Powder, ($35), concentrating solely on the t-zone.
• Lastly, Long layered Laura Mercier Crème Cheek Colour in Oleander, ($24) on top of the powder, using the Laura Mercier Finishing Brush, ($42).

LIPS: Neutral lips contrasted the star’s bright, red gown
• Long applied Laura Mercier Lip Glacé in Bellini, ($24) to Dockery’s naturally pigmented lips.

EYES: Strong brows were the focal point of the eyes
• First, Long blended Laura Mercier Matte Eye Colour in Fresco, ($23) over the entire lid.
• Next, she used the Laura Mercier Eye Crease Travel Brush, ($29) to blend in Laura Mercier Baked Eye Colour in Ballet Pink, ($23) at the center of the lids and into the corner of the eyes, providing a subtle shimmer.
• She then applied Laura Mercier Matte Eye Colour in Blanc, ($23) just under the star’s brows.
• Long smudged Laura Mercier Crème Eye Liner in Espresso, ($22) very tightly to the lashline and followed with three coats of Laura Mercier Waterproof Mascara in Black, ($20) on the upper and lower lashes. She then added a strip of Laura Mercier Center Faux Eyelashes, ($18) to provide a “fluttery pop.”
• To finish the look, Long filled in and slightly extended Dockery’s brows with Laura Mercier Matte Eye Colour in Coffee Ground, ($23) using the Laura Mercier Angled Eye Colour Brush, ($29).
