Pray For Boston

We wanted to take a quick moment for all those affected by the bombings at the Boston Marathon yesterday. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all the people whose lives  have been forever changed from this tragedy.  The images from the incident are shocking and hard to process.

Watching the footage again this morning during the press conference I did still see the pain, and fear of those in this horrific incident. The thing I noticed this time were the people who ran towards the blasts to help others. People taking off their coats and shirts to bandage those who were hurt. A thank you to the brave souls who run towards danger to help those in need.

If you are looking for ways to help those who have been affected, here are some suggestions courtesy of Huffington Post:

HOW YOU CAN HELP:

  • The Red Cross says the best way to help right now is to get in touch with loved ones through its Safe And Well Listings. The organization is not asking for blood donations at this time.
  • The Salvation Army is offering food, beverages and crisis counseling to survivors and first res ponders. Find out how you can get involved here.
  • Some marathon runners are stranded in Boston and in need places to stay. Find out how you can offer housing here.
  • Anyone with info about the incident can call 1-800-494-TIPS.

La Roche-Posay has what you need for glowing Spring Skin!

Winter is finally coming to an end, and after months of harsh conditions, spring is here! With warm weather just around the corner, it’s time for skin to get a fresh start! Try the very best in face cleansers for smooth and moisturized skin this spring!

La Roche-Posay’s Physiological Cleansing Gel has a unique formula with a cooling effect for a refreshing, deep clean feel. The rinse-off gel efficiently cleanses the skin without causing dryness or irritation and is safe for all skin types.

I’ve been using this Cleansing Gel for the last couple week, and have paired it with the Micellar Solution.

Micelles – micro-encapsulate dirt on skin’s surface and lift it up without rubbing, thereby maintaining skin’s physiological balance. Optimal safety on sensitive skin with Poloxamer, a cleansing ingredient so mild it is used in contact lens solutions. Effective to remove impurities while respecting skin’s natural balance.
Description
Cleanses, tones and calms skin, while respecting its physiological balance.

Physiological Micellar Solution has won the following Awards:

  • 2012 Allure Best of Beauty: Sensitive Skin
  • 2011 Allure Best of Beauty: Sensitive Skin

These two together are absolutely AMAZING! My pores are almost non-existent anymore. It cleans, and tightens, and doesn’t dry out your skin! I’m in love, and you will be to! The products are both affordable ($20 or so each), and they will last you months! I’ve been using them for a couple weeks, and I’ve barely made a dent! Love it!
