Keep your skin protected this Labor Day with SolScents!

solscents group shot

As we head into Labor Day weekend don’t forget to protect your skin from damage with SPF protection. I was recently introduced to an awesome sunscreen line called SolScents. They have you covered from SPF15 up to SPF 50. The best part these smell amazing!

I have three kids all very fair so diligent sunscreen use is a must, but most kids aren’t big fans of being gooped up with sunblock. Until now, my kids love all the great sunblock scents from SolScents. And I love how lightweight the product feels. Its easy to apply and absorbs right away no icky, sticky mess. So grab some SolScents and keep having fun in the sun!

Miley Cyrus goes nude to help sell magazines.

Seems like magazine sales are low for V Magazine! The magazine released a sneak peek of their upcoming Rebel Issue, via Miley Cyrus‘ Instagram page.

The singer appears naked – on a pile of stuffed animals – with the word “Subscribe” covering up her lady bits. The photos were taken by Karl Lagerfeld, and she was styled by Carlyne Cerf De Dudzeele.

Apparently on the cover of the magazine, Miley appears in furry, blue bodysuit (can’t wait!).

V explains the idea behind the Rebel Issue:

V91 focuses on the art of rebellion. But before you think us punks or misfits, it should be noted that we’re not necessarily talking about that type of rebellion associated with being deliberately defiant or rowdy, but rather with the idea of taking ownership of one’s ideas and craft and not compromising even when difficult situations arise. Staying true to one’s self and one’s art, no matter what, takes courage and discipline, which is vital to any artist’s survival.

SEE IT HERE! Emma Stone has a dramatic new haircut!

Actress Emma Stone showed off a dramatic new hairdo at the ‘Birdman’ premiere during the 71st Venice Film Festival at Palazzo Del Cinema on August 27, 2014 in Venice, Italy.

The short, blunt-cut bob is by Mara Roszack, who posted the Instagram pic below.

What do you think of her new look? I think she’s adorable!!

What about her makeup? Makeup artist Rachel Goodwin used Revlon ColorBurst Laquer Balm in Whimsical and blotted with a tissue to diminish extra shine for a soft magenta stain effect.

Erin and I took in “Magic in the Moonlight” this week, which is Emma’s new movie, written and directed by Woody Allen. We loved it. She’s adorable in it, naturally. She stars alongside Colin Firth, who is absolute perfection, IMO.

Pharrell’s new fragrance is finally here!

Grammy-winner Pharrell Williams has teamed up with Comme des Garcons to release Girl, a unisex fragrance named after his latest album. It is now available!

Featuring top notes of neroli, lavender and white pepper combined with a base of vetiver, patchouli, cedarwood and sandalwood, and middle notes of iris, styrax and violet, Williams was aiming for a “woody” scent, he told Women’s Wear Daily.

The artist is no stranger to the fashion and art worlds: He has his own clothing line and has collaborated on eyewear, jacket, sunglasses, fine jewelry and an environmentally-friendly denim collections in the past.

“When I do a collaboration with brands, I do them with notable masters, so that I can experience the true purpose of collaboration, which is to learn. So I only work with masters,” Williams told WWD. “We had the best nose in Paris, I was working with the best brand — Comme des Garçons is your favorite designer’s favorite brand — so there was not much of a struggle, because I was working with the masters of the artistic universe.”

The bottle features colorful artwork by Kaws, a New York-based artist and designer. The 100-ml. bottle runs for $135 and the 10-ml version is $30.

Who’s excited to check it out??
