Ceramic Skin Smoother Finishing Serum by N.V. Perricone M.D.

What it is:
A finishing serum that bridges the gap between serious skincare and natural looking makeup.

What it is formulated to do:
An oil-free gel that completes your skincare regimen by locking in moisture and giving your complexion an instantly flawless, smooth, and velvety finish. It primes the skin for perfect color application by reducing the appearance of fine lines, pores, and imperfections. Perfect skin means foundation is now optional.

This product is rather spendy – but I might actually have to try it. If it does what it says it does – then it will be worth the $75.00! I don’t wear any face makeup at all (powders, foundations) so to have even, clean skin would be so great!

Viewer Review: Stila Smudge Pot’s!

stila.jpg

This site is going to be the death of my bank account. I popped out to Sephora to scope out some of the rec’s I’ve read about. (The Diorshow Mascara-thumbs up, and the Two Faced lip plumper-cool but weird!) The sales girl at the Bare Escentuals sold me on Stila Smudge Pots for eye liner.

I was nervous to put it on myself, but it really does apply well; you have about 60-90 seconds to “smudge” it if you want that look, then it’s there for keeps until you use make-up remover. I used a small lip brush like she did, but I might like it better thinner with a very thin liner brush.

Smudge Pots are unique gel eyeliners and shadows in one. The innovative and spunky alternative to traditional powder and liquid formulas, this clever little gel has an inky intensity that leaves powder shadows in the dust. The glass jar and airtight lid keeps the gel soft and pliable.

I got it in brown and it’s dark enough. The other colors are on my list for sure.
