The $18 beauty product Victoria Beckham can’t live without!

Victoria Beckham may be one of the wealthiest women in Hollywood, but that doesn’t mean she has to drop huge amounts on her favorite beauty weapon. (At least not all the time, the fashion designer is a well-known devotee of facials made from sheep placenta and gold flakes.)

The former Spice Girl has revealed her secret beauty weapon! The 38-year-old achieves her flawless skin by using a body moisturizer called ‘Skin Food’ by Weleda.

Victoria told HELLO! magazine, “The body cream I use is a really simple, inexpensive body moisturizer by Weleda. It’s really, really thick, and I slather it on.”

First introduced in 1926, Skin Food is designed to aid skin battered by daily stresses from poor diet to pollution so it’s not wonder that city girl Victoria uses it.

And Victoria isn’t alone in her love of the product.

Adele, Alexa Chung, Rihanna, Peaches Geldof, Helena Christiensen, and Erin O’Connor are also fans of the bargain beauty product.

Adele explained her reason for using the product. She said: ‘Because I wear a lot of makeup when I’m working, I like to use Skin Food by Weleda because it makes my skin feel really replenished.’

Erin O’Connor added: ‘I massage this into the heels of my feet, toes and elbows before a fashion shoot. It works really well to soften the skin.’

Luckily you can buy it in the US! The lotion can be bought at Target.com! GO HERE

Victoria Beckham lands the March cover of Elle UK!

Victoria Beckham is the cover girl for Elle UK’s March issue. For the issue, Victoria modeled all Burberry, which kind of surprised me. I wonder why she didn’t wear her own line? Anyhoo, there isn’t much that’s been released from the issue, just a couple quotes.

On her employees:  “You’ve got to trust people. And because I am a control freak, sometimes that’s difficult for me, because I want to micro-manage absolutely everything. I can’t hand over. But I’m trying to do that more. It’s hard because I have such a specific vision.”

No one pays attention to her: “When I was on stage with the Spice Girls, I thought people were there to see the other four and not me. And when I go out with David and people take pictures I think, ‘They’re here to take David’s picture.’”

She has good worth ethic: “I don’t have to work, I need to work. But I have a good work ethic. David has an incredible work ethic. I want my kids to have a good work ethic. I believe you can achieve anything if you work hard enough to get it.”

Her clothing line has taken off like crazy, and she’s going really well for herself. I never thought I’d like her clothes, either, but as the years go by, I’m finding myself recognizing her pieces on celebs – and LOVING them. She has great taste, and I think it’s really cool she’s made a name for herself other than being a Spice Girl.

Is it just me, or does she look like she’s sucking her thumb in this picture below.

Victoria Beckham: “Fashion stole my smile!”

Victoria Beckham was Glamour Magazine’s guest editor for their September issue, dubbed the “Fashion Issue”. As a result, the designer was featured on the cover!

Victoria opened up about everything from ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ to whether or not she’s going to have any more children.

On guest editing: “It’s been exciting for me to see my ideas come to life, from type colors to photo selection to casting. I even made my own list of Glamour fashion Don’ts to keep out of the issue: boat shoes (unless of course you’re designer Alber Elbaz or on a boat!), Bermuda shorts, nose rings, Crocs, and American tan tights (that’s nude pantyhose to you).”

Why she never smiles: “Do you know, I don’t know?! I actually used to smile a lot in pictures. I think I only stopped smiling when I got into fashion. [Laughs.] Fashion stole my smile! I’ve created this person. And I’m not saying that’s not me, but I wouldn’t say that’s the whole me…. It’s an armor that goes up.”

She loves 50 Shades of Grey: “I’m halfway through the second one. I even bought my mum the book! But every time she tries to engage in conversation about it, I kind of dodge the subject. I don’t really want to talk to my mother about S&M.”

On having Becks in her runway audience: It was the first time! He’s always been working or training. But I was nervous about this show. I was feeling a lot of pressure. He phoned me the night before, and I just said, ‘I want you to come be with me. I want a cuddle. I really do.’ And it was great to have him there. I think he was surprised; I don’t usually bother him with much detail. And then you get there, and the models, the hair, the makeup…I think he was blown away!”

On her future & family: “I’d like everybody to be healthy and happy. I’d like to be growing the business at a steady pace, and to be making more women feel empowered, beautiful, and confident. And I’d never say never about another baby. It’s a juggling act–a career, family, a husband who’s busy. But I’d never say never!”

I think Victoria looks really beautiful in these pictures!

Renee Zellweger vs. Victoria Beckham: Who has the hotter Harper’s Bazaar cover?

I’m just gonna say it. What the heck is up with Renee’s face? Has her nose always looked like that? Maybe it’s the angle? Maybe the photoshop? Whatever it is – I’m not feeling her cover on Harper’s Bazaar Russia. (PS: Where has she been!? No movie in ages!)

And below we have Victoria Beckham’s Harper’s Bazaar China cover. Wow.

It’s a toss up – I sort of think they’re both a hot mess!

PS: Make Her Up has changed the way comments work. I’m sure you’ve noticed. Sorry if you hate it – but it was time for a change! Comments now appear on Facebook – which is better for everyone! Victoria Beckham claims her body represents the “average woman”

Victoria Beckham insists that she uses her body as an example for her own designs.

In the new Harper’s Bazaar UK, the married mother of four, explained that she wears her own designs so she can feel what her customers feel.

“We always joke that we have this fabulously gorgeous 17-year-old model who is six-foot-whatever and then I say “OK, I’m going to put it on. I stand for the general public here”.

“It’s how I work. I found it really difficult when I was pregnant and I couldn’t do that. It’s part of the process – I’ll stand here in my knickers and start draping fabric over myself. It was very hard when I didn’t have my body.”

But with the average British woman wearing a size 16, and certainly unable to afford a dress from the Victoria Beckham collection – adored by the A-list – and costing thousands, it’s a claim that stretches the imagination somewhat.

Victoria has established herself as a fashion designer in the last couple of years, and this year won the coveted Designer Brand of the Year at the British Fashion Awards.

The overwhelmed designer who previously enjoyed massive success with The Spice Girls said it was like an ‘out of body experience’ when her name was called out.

‘I came offstage and said, “I cried three times, I didn’t thank the people I wanted to thank, I was really rubbish”. But I think people saw the real me…and the truth is, I would have felt much more comfortable in my pyjamas with the kids and David in a hotel watching it on TV.’

She looks absolutely amazing in these pictures. I read in the interview that she claims to be a size 6, which blew me away. A 6? I would have never guessed that. I would have said 0 or 2 at the biggest! I don’t see enough curves to make her a size 6.
