I totally loooooooooooove Vera Wang. I love her clothing line at Kohl’s, I also love her home collection. She has great taste! Seems almost fitting that she would venture into the cosmetics world.

Today it was announced that Vera will be launching her own cosmetics line, which will debut exclusively at Kohl’s.

In conjunction with the BeautyBank division of the Estée Lauder Cos. Inc., Wang will release a 74 piece collection in April as part of the Simply Vera Vera Wang brand she has with the retailer.

“It completes my Kohl’s universe,” the designer told WWD. “Also, a pop of color is such a gorgeous way to let your natural beauty shine through.It’s the ultimate accessory.”Wang promises that each product is a combination of color and treatment, since she believes strongly in the maintenance of one’s skin.

What can we expect from her next? Wang says her daughters are nudging her to do a nail polish line. “It’s an obsession in my home,” she said. We’ll be looking forward to it!

When most brides think wedding dress, they probably think Vera Wang (even though few of us could afford it).

In her latest collection of wedding gowns, the talented designer has gone anything but traditional! The collection doesn’t contain any white gowns, instead opting for nude, black and other non-traditional colors. This collection was made for brides who are looking for something unique. “A wedding is a joyous event, and the bride’s dress should always reflect that,” she once told InStyle.com. I think most of the dresses are gorgeous, but I don’t know if I’d actually wear any as a wedding gown. Call me old fashioned, I guess.

“Gossip Girl” star Leighton Meester has signed on as the face of Vera Wang’s next fragrance, WWD has learned. The advertising campaign, which will be shot by Carter Smith this weekend in Manhattan, will break summer 2011 in fashion, beauty and lifestyle magazines. The fragrance will be available in department stores next summer. The designer noted that she believes Meester’s “beauty, talent and spirit will inspire all the young women that I hope will enjoy this passionate, new young fragrance.”
