Taylor Swift lands the March cover of Elle Magazine: “I never chase boys. They don’t like it!”

This month, the stunning Taylor Swift covers the March issue of ELLE, on newsstands 2/19. The We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together songstress dishes about her middle school insecurities, her ex-boyfriends, and her songwriting process.

On her insecurity:

“Middle school was what programmed me be to be semi-insecure, like, all of the time.  I didn’t fit in….I’d stand on the outside of the circle but I was never really in.  That’s when I started to realize there’s this thing called rejection.”

On ex-boyfriends:

“I don’t think I’ve ever yelled at an ex-boyfriend.  Ever.  I’m not a yeller.  I’m not a fit thrower.  If something is done, it’s done.”

On the speculation surrounding her songs and famous exes:

“To me it’s just writing songs the way I always have.  It’s me sitting on my bed feeling pain I didn’t understand, writing a song, and understanding it better. If people want to dissect the lyrics, that’s their right, but it’s all coming from the exact same place as where I started.  It’s just something I do to feel better.”

On dealing with rumors:

“I’m sure if I looked up the latest Google Alerts rumor it would say I’m chasing somebody who doesn’t like me as much as I like him – people love that angle on me.  They’re like ‘Oh Taylor, coming on too strong again, chasing boys.  I never chase boys.  They don’t like it!’”

FIRST LOOK! Taylor Swift’s first campaign for Keds!

We’re getting our first look today at Taylor Swift’s new Keds ad! The campaign was shot in Nashville in a series of locations, including a train station, guitar shop and record store.

Titled “Bravehearts,” the campaign centers around Bravehearts.com, where girls are inspired to live fearlessly, define their style, and learn more about Swift’s personal story.

Swift isn’t the only one showing her stripes, or dots rather, as five additional brave girls will be featured alongside her in many of the images as well as sharing their individual stories on Bravehearts.com

Swift’s enthusiasm about working with the brand couldn’t be contained. “I am so excited to be working with Keds,” she said. “The campaign is a tribute to brave girls everywhere.”

Expect to see the print ads on in March issues of women’s lifestyle magazines.

Man, back in my day (I said it) Keds were the IT shoes. You knew you were cool if your shoes had that little blue tag on the back of them. Oh it brings back the memories!! I need to get a pair for my niece…

In the photograph, the singer is perched atop a tower, dressed in a purple and pink gown and surrounded by endless locks of shiny, blonde hair.

But the photo shoot isn’t the only new thing happening for the Grammy nominee. Swift – who split from One Direction singer Harry Styles earlier this month – recently Tweeted she’s making new music.

“Back in the studio. Uh oh …” she wrote.

Taylor Swift Goes Pink!

Taylor Swift traders her signature long blonde hair for a  shorter and edgier pink do’  in the video. Her messy hairstyle is completed with blunt bangs and hot pink dip-dyed tips. Taylor  completes her look with black tights, converse sneakers, cut-off jean shorts and a leather jacket. A big change from her usual cowboy boots and flowy dresses.

In ‘I Knew You Were Trouble’, from her latest album, ‘Red’ Swift sings about a past relationship that she stayed in, even though she knew from the get-go that it wouldn’t end well.
