You’d never know by watching her play the villainous blonde Cersei Lannister on ‘Game of Thrones’ that actress Lena Headey has a thing for tattoos!

The 39-year-old posed for Esquire’s April issue, and we’re getting a better look at what the natural brunette is all about! The actress reveals a love for tattoos. “It’s funny how tattoos seem to scare people. There’s something about it that I love. I find it calming. At the end of the day, you’re just decorating skin. I hate seeing myself covered up.”

In a show that’s as sexually charged as ‘Game of Thrones,’ how does the actress hide all her tattoos? “You can usually get away with it by keeping your clothes on,” she says.

In the mag, Lena opens up about playing Cersei … and what her future holds. “All I know is my character isn’t dead yet,” she jokes. “And that’s great, but I don’t take anything for granted. I’m sort of like a T-Rex in the world of female actresses. Every time a job is finished, I look at my car and think, ‘Could I live in it?’”

Though most actors would likely love the break after shooting the third season of a successful show, Headey considers herself unemployed. When asked what she’ll do upon returning to Los Angeles, where she’s lived for six years, she says, “I’m going home to beg for work.”

Miley Cyrus, 20, got a new tattoo on Friday, and Kat Von D shared a picture of it on Twitter!

Miley’s tattoo is “a miniature rendition of a daVinci anatomical heart,” according to Kat. Does Miley’s new tattoo have anything to do with her reported breakup from fiance Liam Hemsworth?

Miley claims the two are still together, but the once-photogenic couple hasn’t been photographed together in months. Rumor has it Miley doesn’t want to call it over, but Liam is already done.

Jenny McCarthy made good use of the power outage during the Super Bowl on Sunday. The talk-show host was able to get a large tattoo on her foot during the blackout.

On Saturday, McCarthy tweeted, “What age should people stop getting tattoos?”

She determined, I guess, that 40 isn’t too old after all. McCarthy announced this morning that she got a new tattoo during the blackout on Sunday. She showed off her new ink this morning, a rose with vines.  “Cramps on press tour. Doing Kathy lee and Hoda next. Hoping they have a heating pad and Whisky. Wait… Of course they will have Whisky.”

Jenny McCarthy co-hosted a Super Bowl party called Leather & Laces on Friday night. Among her fellow hosts were Kendra Wilkinson, Rachael Leigh Cook, Brooklyn Decker and Stephanie Pratt.

McCarthy is currently promoting her upcoming talk show, which premieres Friday on VH1. She said she will use Hugh Hefner’s old “Playboy After Dark” as inspiration for “The Jenny McCarthy Show”.

Kat Von D gave Miley Cyrus this new tattoo. The artist wrote:

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are young and in love. Isn’t it cute! The 22-year-old actor revealed that he got a new tattoo on his arm similar to Mileys, after posting a picture of the his & hers tattoos on his Instagram page.

Liam tattooed a line from President Roosevelt’s 1910 speech on the inside of his forearm, and his 19-year-old fiance Miley also has a quote from the same speech on her arm.

Liam’s tattoo reads, “If he fails, at least fails while daring greatly”, which is the line that comes before Miley’s quote. Miley’s tattoo reads “So that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who neither know victory nor defeat”. Miley got her tattoo earlier this year.

The quotes come from Roosevelt’s speech which was made at the Sorbonne, Paris, on April 23, 1910.

The full speech reads: ‘It is not the critic who counts: not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles or where the doer of deeds could have done better.

‘The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood, who strives valiantly, who errs and comes up short again and again, because there is no effort without error or shortcoming, but who knows the great enthusiasms, the great devotions, who spends himself for a worthy cause; who, at the best, knows, in the end, the triumph of high achievement, and who, at the worst, if he fails, at least he fails while daring greatly, so that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who knew neither victory nor defeat.’

Selena Gomez has a new tattoo! The Disney actress added a tattoo – the Roman numeral LXXVI (the number 76) – on the nape of her neck. Selena had the work done by Bang Bang, a tattoo artist to the stars, in his Lower East Side studio in NYC.

What’s the meaning behind the inscription?

“The tattoo was a tribute to a family member who she said means a lot to her,” the tattoo artist told The Daily Mail. “Selena was nervous it might have been painful, so she held her best friend’s hand the whole time. But she did a great job.”

After sharing a snap of Gomez admiring her new tat in a mirror on his Facebook, Bang Bang tweeted, “I hope u love it girl! @selenagomez.”

The A-list tattoo artist has inked the likes of Swizz Beatz, Chris Brown, Rihanna, Katy Perry and Gomez’sSpring Breaker costar, Vanessa Hudgens. Bang Bang has even worked with Gomez’s boyfriend, having drawn the word “Believe” on Bieber’s inner elbow.

And this isn’t the first tat for Gomez, 20. The singer-actress — whose animated film, Hotel Transylvania, debuted this weekend at No. 1 with $43 million — has small musical note on her wrist, which was inked by Louie Gomez (no relation) at Hollywood’s Under the Gun tattoo parlor in February.

Rihanna has  a huge new tattoo!

The singer, 24, got a new tattoo over the weekend in honor of her beloved grandmother Dolly, who passed away in June.

Rihanna shared a topless photo of her new tattoo, a feathererd Egyptian goddess named Isis, inked on the top of her ribcage. “Goddess Isis – Complete Woman” Rihanna tweeted. “Model for future generations – #GRANGRANDOLLY – always in and on my heart #1love.”

In London on Sunday, she wowed tens of thousands of fans as she sang “Princess of China” with Coldplay in a seriously steamy performance with frontman (and Gwyneth Paltrow’s husband) Chris Martin. At the VMAs in Los Angeles three days earlier, it was her off-stage behavior that caused the most comment: Winning the Video of the Year award for “We Found Love,” she hugged and kissed — on the lips — her abusive ex-boyfriend Chris Brown.

The chart-topper may or may not have been alluding to her former beau, 23, and their surprising VMAs PDA via Twitter on Saturday with a series of messages. “Heartbreak . . .” she wrote. “I was his Marilyn Monroe . . . A James Dean on the low. What’s love without tragedy?”

What do you think about her new tattoo? I kind of love it. I’ve been dyyyyyyyyyying for a new tattoo lately. Trouble is, I can’t think of anything I want. I would love to come up with something of meaning, but I’m at a loss. Probably means I won’t actually get a new tattoo, but I’ve been feeling the urge lately. Wish there was something meaningful to me that would translate well into a tattoo. I’m not a huge fan of initials – or birth signs – or whatever. I’d love to get something cool, but coming up with the right thing is tricky!
