I think Pushing Daisies Anna Friel is just about as cute as it gets.  She’s a natural beauty, definitely not needing much makeup.  When asked recently what her favorite products were, she listed a few of her Must-Have’s!

Reader Review: O-Glow or O-No?

smashbox-o-glow.jpg

Thanks to Candy from Dallas, TX for the review.

Title of your review: Smashbox O-Glow

Tell us about it!: After running out of my beloved Prescriptives Pressed
Powder Leaves in Rose I decided to move off my usual beaten path to
Smashbox. I had heard the buzz surrounding O-Glow, which promises to create
a shade of blush based on your own bodies chemistry as soon as it hits your
face. Here in lies the problem.

After consulting the sales girl, I took my purchase home and excitedly
opened my product. Yet here I wonder: Foundation first, then O-Glow or
O-Glow then Foundation? If I applied O-Glow first my foundation would all
but wash it out (and I wear very sheer foundation), and if applied over the
foundation it seemed rather muddy or false looking.

I also discovered that its very difficult to get even coverage on both
sides. I always felt like one side was more pink than the other, or more
intense.

At the end of the day, it was just too complicated for a step that normally
took me seconds as I run out the door. O-Glow for me was an O-No.

I can agree with Candy on this I was also puzzled at what point to apply O-Glow and I found the color faded really fast. My favorite cheek color lately has been Tarte’s cheek stain. It is super easy to apply and leaves you with the perfect flushed look.

Smashbox Cream Eye Liner Palette

smashbox_eyeliner.jpg

I love the look of liquid eyeliner but I always shy away since I have really unsteady hands. I bought a Try Me kit from Smashbox a few months ago and the cream eyeliner has been hiding out in the bottom of my makeup box because I was too afraid to try it.

I had a little extra time last week and decided to try the cream eyeliner since the cute little box was just calling my name. I wish I hadn’t waited so long I love it, the cream is really easy to work with and the results are amazing. I have gotten bolder as the week progressed and tried some of the colors I love the blue its dark enough to not look overdone it just gives your eyes an extra little kick.

Smashbox Cream Eye Liner Palette

Packed with ten of Smashbox’s most sought after Cream Eyeliner colors, an oversized mirror, and a mini Cream Eyeliner Brush, this palm-sized palette is a definite must-have.
