Jergens Natural Glow: My Spring Beauty Routine, Plus $500 Giveaway!

Jergens Natural Glow and She Speaks wanted to know how I change things up for my Spring Beauty Routine. I am a big believer in changing products with the season, what works in the cold of winter is not necessarily the best thing for long, warm Spring days.

One of the big changes is my mo moisturizer in cold, windy winter my skin needs extra protection from a heavier day cream. But as Spring arrives its far too heavy and can lead to breakouts and too much shine. I start using light moisturizers made for the warmer months and I really love tinted versions with SPF saves a ton of time and add a bit of gloss and mascara and I am done.

I also add highlights in the Spring to brighten up my look, and I start using color protection shampoo and conditioners to protect my new color. Add a weekly face and hair mask and I can keep my sensitive, combo skin from freaking out during the rapid weather changes of Spring in the Pacific NW.

Nothing says Spring like some fun new tops or dresses. I like to find a few fun, affordable sundresses that I can dress up with heels and accessories or throw over a swimsuit with sandals for a day by the pool. Pedicures are a must this time of year with toes that are on display in  heels, wedges  and sandals I make sure I take the time take care of my feet and keep my toes painted a bright pink or coral for Spring.

The Fast Metabolism Diet: Week 2 Update!

 Week 2 Update:

Ok week 2 down! I feel like a new person and no I am not blowing smoke up your A#$!. The first week was hard very hard the change of diet was tough but no coffee was intense. During those first few days I would have a hard time looking at people with coffee cups I wanted to smack their cup to the ground and run. (Yes I have issues) Now after finishing my second week I really do feel completely different.

A New Journey: The Fast Metabolism Diet

I will be following The Fast Metabolism Diet for the next 28 days as part of a review with SheSpeaks.  So far I have really enjoyed the book, Hailey takes the time to explain how the foods we do or don’t eat effect our bodies functions and more importantly our metabolism.
