The new SJP shoe line has finally arrived! The line doesn’t excite me as much as I hoped, but there are a few gorgeous shoes. From the early reviews I am reading, some of the shoes are amazing and somehow are as comfortable as they are cute.! Definitely need to hit Nordy’s and check these out in person.

Will you be buying anything from the SJP collection?

A Nordstrom exclusive: Sarah Jessica Parker shares the insights and inspirations behind her new line of polished shoes, handbags and apparel.

“Can’t wait for spring!”

Sweet scalloping lends playful, feminine appeal to a graceful suede sandal lifted by a slender heel.

SJP ‘Maud’ Sandal
$375
“I’m so thrilled with the way this shoe developed. It’s no secret this shoe is inspired by the great Maud Frizon. I imagine so many nights spent in this fun, flirty style; the colors demand to be seen and the shoe is longing for an adventure. I love the idea of using multiple colors, simple colors, to create a more unique neutral. It’s a shoe that can go with such a variety of colors and even patterns. And I’m so pleased with how soft the weave feels on the foot.”
-Sarah Jessica Parker

A multihued profusion of delicately interwoven strips lends fashionable finesse to the peep toe of a breezy sandal with a slim, wraparound ankle strap

The new SJP Collection is available in Nordstrom stores and online at shop.nordstrom.com.

Sarah Jessica Parker is on Instagram! The ‘Sex and the City’ star finally took the plunge, and signed up for the social networking site. I’m glad, aren’t you curious what the world looks like through her eyes?

As of now she’s taken six pictures of scenes around NYC, nothing of herself. You can check her page out here! She posted the picture below of a ballerina performing in Columbus Circle.

Can’t wait to see what else she shares!

Sarah Jessica Parker covers the September issue of Harper’s Bazaar!

Sarah Jessica Parker lands the September cover of Harper’s Bazaar. On the cover, Sarah is wearing a gorgeous gold Marc Jacobs dress, but it’s the dress inside that’s got everyone talking.

Check out this stunning floor-length Gucci gown! The netted and feathered gown is from Gucci’s Fall 2013 collection. Photos were taken by Terry Richardson (of course).

As far as the interview goes, she opens up about her marriage to Matthew Broderick, fashion and her image. I find her comments about Matthew to be SO CUTE…. I just love them!

On her marriage to Matthew Broderick: “Matthew and I come from a different time and place. When we were young people, all we ever wanted was to be good working actors. We didn’t think of fame or money because, honestly, money was never part of the dream. It was to work in theater, to be around those people whose work I was in total awe of. I never saw the trappings; nobody talked about being a celebrity. So when our marriage came up in conversation, it wouldn’t occur to us that we were obligated to respond to allegations or gossip. You have to be a bit circumspect, but you also have to take up a position, and you have to stick to it. I love Matthew Broderick. Call me crazy, but I love him. We can only be in the marriage we are. We’re very devoted to our family and our lives. I love our life. I love that he’s the father of my children, and it’s because of him that there’s this whole other world that I love.”

On collaborating in the fashion world: “We’ve all worked with complicated people and I always think that I can disarm them. I love collaborating. I’m a great listener and learner, and I don’t think I know more than they do. I’m transparent.”

On teaming up with Monolo Blahnik: “The shoe business is so exciting because we don’t have to think of black and brown as the only neutrals anymore,” she says.

On her image: “I don’t think I’ve ever spent 10 minutes calculating my image. I can’t even recall a conversation.”

Sarah Jessica Parker is launching her own line of shoes!

Sarah Jessica Parker has finally decided to turn her obsession with footwear into a brand new shoe line!

Sarah tells Vogue it was only a matter of time. “In a silly way, I think it’s what people have expected of me most because of Carrie Bradshaw.” The actress will create the new line with George Malkemus, CEO of Manolo Blahnik. Her line will also include bags and trench coats.

The collection, with shoe prices ranging from $200 to $300 and bags going for just below $700, will sold exclusively at Nordstrom and hit stores in early 2014.

While her “SATC” character was shoe-obsessed (remember the lost Manolos episode?), Sarah Jessica’s love of high heels doesn’t quite match Carrie Bradshaw’s. “For ten or so years, I literally ran in heels. I worked 18-hour days and never took them off,” SJP told The Edit back in March. Now, unfortunately, “the chickens are coming home to roost” and Sarah Jessica limits her high-heel wearing to only the nicest shoes.

But she’s still got all that footwear knowlege stowed away. “Because I got to play that role, I wore a lot of shoes,” Parker tells Vogue.com about new venture, “and by default I learned an enormous amount. It’s hard to walk away from that.”

Makes perfect sense, no? I think she’s going to be a great designer. I can see her designing really beautiful shoes.
