I was just sent some samples of some great new products for summer and wanted to share my favorites.

My favorite from the new line is the Naked Beauty high lights cream cheek color. Its a great double duty product giving my cheekbones a little lift and the cream blush smooths on giving my cheeks the perfect flushed pink look.

I am obsessed with Smashbox’s eye trios! I  was just sent some color samples of the Smashbox eyeshadow trios and I have been using them daily I think my other eyeshadows are getting jealous! My favorite has to be Microfilm I’m actually excited to get up each day and try a new look. The coordinated shades make experimenting a breeze I started this week using the matte brown as my base color with a green accent and am now using the gold and metallic green together with a hint of the brown. Every combo I try looks great and really opens my eyes. On top of truly vibrant colors the colors stay true all day!

I have always loved their gel liner and have found another eyeliner to covet with Smashbox Waterproof  Shadow Liner Duo.  When the sample showed up on my door I jumped at the chance to try it.  The cream is so smooth and glides on so easy it makes application a snap the color duo is all you need for a sexy smoky eye. If you have days that seem to never end this is the eyeliner for you! This stuff does not move, your eyes will look as great at bedtime as they did when you left the house in the morning. 

Instant Definition Eye Shadow Palettes from Sally Hansen Natural Beauty Inspired by Carmindy ($7.95 at drugstores nationwide) also let you to play up your eyes. Whether it’s the Storm Eye Palette, Ocean Eye Palette, or the Mountain Eye Palette, you can get that smoky eye in no time.

Quick tip from Carmindy: Simply apply the highlight shade under the brow and on the inner corners of the eyes. Sweep on the smoldering lid shade across the lid from the lash line to the crease and smudge a bit under the lower lash line. Finish off by applying the contour shade across the crease.

I have been really impressed with the new Sally Hansen Natural Beauty inspired by Carmindy. I have found some drugstore lines either irritate my skin or having no staying power. All of the Sally Hansen by Carmindy items I have had the luck of sampling have stood out from the rest. With great colors that stay vibrant all day and absolutely no eye irritation. The Sally Hansen eye trios are an affordable eyeshadow product that makes great looking eyes affordable at every price point.

I love that Smashbox is donating to the Children’s Miracle Network with each purchase! It is great when our Christmas shopping dollars can do double time taking care of others.
