Lana Del Rey: “My lips are real”

Controversial singer Lana Del Rey is all anyone can talk about these days. Whether it’s her SNL performance, her hair, her lips, her nails, her voice – people have a very strong opinion about her. According to HuffPo, the singer has already landed a modeling contract and scored a huge sartorial score in posing for the cover ofVogue UK.

Despite the attention, Del Rey is getting a lot of criticism in the lips department.

In a new interview in the New York Times’ Tmagazine, Del Rey opens up to writer Jacob Brown about that facial feature everyone (well, everyone on the Internet) has been buzzing about.

Her lips. Del Rey insists they’re real:

“It’s fine,” she assures me. “They’re real lips, I mean. In real life my lips don’t look that big. I think because I cartoonized the footage of myself in the video for ‘Video Games’ things look exaggerated.”

Reese Witherspoon: “I don’t think I need plastic surgery at this point.” PLUS: ‘This Means War’ REVIEW!

The stunning Reese Witherspoon covers the March issue of Glamour UK. She’s promoting her new film, ‘This Means War’. The photo shoot alongside the article is stunning. Reese looks better than ever!

She has two children, a husband and a very successful career – and she’s only in her 30′s! While the 35-year-old actress says that she doesn’t want any plastic surgery right now, she doesn’t know what the future will hold!

On plastic surgery:

“I’m not for it. I’m not against it. I have plenty of friends who do stuff and if it makes you feel good, great. But I don’t think it’s the fix for some sort of unease that you’re having about who you are as a human being. I don’t think I need plastic surgery at this point. Can we just go day-by-day on that one?”

On showing off her body in her new film:

She explains: “I don’t worry about it. I have the body I earned. I had two kids and I’m still strong and healthy.
And you start to have a different respect for your body the older you get. Instead of tearing yourself apart all the time, you start to go “Oh wow”.”

On being frugal(ish):

Despite earning millions of dollars per movie, Witherspoon admits she can be quite frugal when it comes to shopping.
Although she recently splashed out on a black Valentino bag, she revealed she can’t bring herself to buy an expensive bag from The Row - Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen’s fashion label.

“I have this fixation about this black leather The Row purse, but it’s so prohibitively expensive, I will not allow myself to buy it. I literally go to the store to visit it. Too much money – it feels decadent. I can’t wrap my brain around it. If I bought it, I’d only feel upset about it and take it back. However, she justified her purchase of the Valentino bag, because ‘it’s super-plain and beautiful and just feels like something you’ll have forever’.”

I just love her! There’s nothing I don’t like about her!

Erin and I went and saw an early screening of ‘This Means War’ last night – and I have to tell you – we absolutely LOVED it. I was really not expecting that. I don’t think the trailer is very good, and the whole premise just seemed so … lame. But it wasn’t! It was such a fun movie! I laughed – hard – and wasn’t expecting to! The chemistry between the three at the center of the movie is believable! There’s definitely a lot of cheese in this movie, and I rolled my eyes more than once, but I didn’t mind. It was a super fun movie, and I enjoyed every minute of it! PS: Tom Hardy and Chris Pine are HOT in it! Reese looks better than ever in this movie – her clothes were to die for! Chelsea Handler was hilarious. All the pieces just really fit together perfectly to make a really fun movie. It’s not going to win any awards – but I would definitely say it’s worth paying to see. Fun movie!

Does Kate Gosselin have a whole new face?

Kate Gosselin has gotten herself a real day job, believe it or not. These new photos show Kate Gosselin apparently sitting at her desk, working as a CouponCabin.com blogger. US Weekly points out that her face doesn’t really look the same as it used to. Did she get some work done?

Has Kate Gosselin gone under the knife — again?

When the former reality star recently reported for her first day as a CouponCabin.com blogger, she revealed a new face to go with her new gig. And it’s not the first time the formerly full-figured brunette has freshened up.

“She’s consumed with her appearance,” a source says of Gosselin, 36, whose TLC reality show Kate Plus 8 was canceled in August.

To keep her youthful appearance, the single mom of eight — who got a tummy tuck in 2007 and breast implants in 2009 — relies on thrice-weekly tanning sessions. Last June, she even gave herself Botox injections! (The result: unnaturally arched eyebrows.)

New York City plastic surgeon Jon Turk tells the new issue of Us Weekly (on sale Monday) that based on recent photos, it looks like Gosselin’s gone more extreme this time: A defined jawline and changed eye shape “suggest a facelift.”

It’s not surprising, the source tells Us: “Kate wants to look 10 years younger.”

I agree that it definitely looks like she got some work done, but who knows if it was an entire face lift or not. Maybe she just followed in Jill Zarin’s footsteps and got a “liquid facelift”.

Sadly enough, her face actually looks better now. It’s not so harsh as it used to be – it looks softer..

Michelle Pfeiffer opens up about plastic surgery.

Michelle Pfeiffer looks stunning in the new Elle Magazine. Michelle is featured in it’s “Women In Hollywood 2011″ feature. The gorgeous 53-year-old posed for a black and white photo, wearing a 1950′s vintage James Galanos dress.

On being cast as Al Pacino’s trophy wife in Scarface: “I was terrified the whole time. I was so out of my league with all of these seasoned actors. Here I was, this little waify thing in these little flimsy clothes, and who was I? I was the girl from Grease 2!”

On plastic surgery: “I’m all for a little something here and there—fine. It doesn’t matter to me if people have plastic surgery or they don’t, or if they do Botox. But when people don’t look like themselves anymore, that’s when you kind of go, ‘Oooh,’ and it’s kind of sad. It’s uncomfortable for us, but if they’re happy with what they see in the mirror, does it matter?”

Michelle will next be seen in ‘New Years Eve’ the sequel of ‘Valentine’s Day’.

Why Bristol Palin changed her face!

Bristol Palin caused a major stir April 30 in Washington, D.C. at an afterparty for the White House Correspondents Association dinner: Debuting not just a slimmed-down bod and stylish new ‘do but a distinctly more angled jaw and sharpened chin.

And the young mom, Dancing with the Stars alum and daughter of political superstar Sarah Palin knew what everyone was thinking. “It’s not plastic surgery,” she tells Us Weekly exclusively in the new issue, out Wednesday.

She explains: “I had corrective jaw surgery” back in December 2010, says the new Bio channel reality star, who has a 2-year-old son, Tripp, with ex-fiance Levi Johnston.

“Yes,” she admits, “It improved the way I look, but this surgery was necessary for medical reasons…so my jaw and teeth could properly realign…I don’t obsess over my face”

Still, “I am absolutely thrilled with the results,” she gushes. “I look older, more mature, and don’t have as much of a chubby little baby face!”

LeAnn Rimes gets new breasts to celebrate her engagement!

LeAnn Rimes got new boobs to go along with her new engagement to Eddie Cibrian, and she showed them off during her recent vacation to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. US Weekly reports that not only did LeAnn get implants, but she went to the same plastic surgeon as Eddie’s ex-wife, Brandi Glanville!

A newly-engaged LeAnn Rimes flaunted a noticeably bustier figure Thursday while sporting a teeny bikini during her vacation in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico with fiance Eddie Cibrian, 37.

“She recently got a boob job,” a source reveals to UsMagazine.com. “She’s always, always been insecure about her size. She was a small A-cup. She often talked about wanting to get implants. She’d say, “I just want a little bit so they’re proportionate to my body.’”

To pump up her new appearance, Rimes even turned to the same plastic surgeon Cibrian’s ex wife Brandi Glanville used — and got the same cup size!

Says the insider, “When Brandi and LeAnn were constantly fighting, one of LeAnn’s jabs at Brandi was that she was plastic. Brandi replied, ‘Be careful, honey. That’s what Eddie likes. You’ll be there someday too.’ Looks like Brandi was right!”

The singer, 28, flaunted her new look while celebrating her engagement to Cibrian. “Cabo!!!!! Sun, bikinis, friends, food, tequila…celebration!!!! Gonna be the best trip!!” Rimes tweeted.

Rimes admitted to Shape last year that she works hard to maintain her picture-perfect bod.

“I’m a competitive person in a lot of ways, so I like a little bit of pressure,” she told the mag. “It makes me get to the gym sometimes when I don’t want to go, so in that respect it is good, but I try not to let it rule my life.”
