Olivia Wilde looks gorgeous on the October cover of Harper’s Bazaar Spain.

The beautiful Olivia Wilde lands the October cover of Harper’s Bazaar Spain. I love the cover, she looks great. The photo of her kicking up her leg is great too. Olivia is currently promoting her two new movies, ‘Drinking Buddies’ and ‘Rush.’ I want to see ‘Drinking Buddies’ because it looks like a cute romantic comedy, but ‘Rush’ looks downright boring to me. I don’t like 70s movies, never have.

Anyway – they haven’t released anything from the interview of this magazine, so I’m hopping over to an interview she did with Food & Wine (because her ‘Drinking Buddies’ movie is all about BEER!). She tells the magazine that she has terrible eating habits – and maybe she does – but I find it slightly irritating to hear her talk about it, when she obviously works out. She doesn’t come across as snobby as some celebs who swear they NEVER work out, and eat whatever they want. I guess maybe Olivia’s more down to earth than we thought?

Deep-fried PB&J: “Now I’m ruined. I’m gonna turn into Marlon Brando. I had it at the Malibu Inn, which is a great music venue and bar right on the Pacific Coast Highway. My fiancé ordered the deep-fried PB&J–they use waffle batter, so it’s not too bready. The way the peanut butter and jelly melt together is far better than I could have imagined. It’s pretty much the ultimate stoner food.”

Beer: “Even though I’m Irish and I love Guinness, dark, dark, dark beers aren’t usually my thing. I like a good, aromatic IPA. Now I have become a total beer snob. I’m the annoying person who takes forever in the beer aisle at Whole Foods, because I’m standing there going, ‘Hmm. I’m not sure. I’m not sure if that’s a good selection. Do you have anything in the back? Is this local? I’ve never heard of this one. How hoppy is this?’ And other people are just like, ‘Please, move on.’”

Wine: “Oh yeah, I’m a wino. I won’t say there’s one grape I like best, though, because I do like blends. Do you know The Prisoner? That’s a blend of Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. That’s just a fabulous wine. But my favorite wine of all time is a Napa Valley Cabernet called Scarecrow. It’s mailing-list only, so it’s hard to find, but if you ever see a bottle of Scarecrow, get it.”

Pasta: “I have recently fallen in love with an Italian restaurant downtown called Carbone. I’ve always found sea urchin to be too fishy, but at Carbone, they serve a sea urchin dish that is incredible. It’s just garlicky and buttery and amazing. They also make the best linguine vongole I’ve ever had. For me, my number one comfort food–the food that really feels like a hug on the inside–is pasta. Probably a fresh linguine with arrabbiata sauce would be my top pick. Maybe I’d have some bread on the side, with some cheese or olive oil, too. I guess I crave the basic, carby things that we’re not supposed to eat.”

Olivia Wilde covers the “Jeans” issue of InStyle Magazine!

Olivia Wilde lands the December August cover of InStyle Magazine. Odd coloring and clothes for the August issue, isn’t it? Anyway, it’s the jeans issue I guess, so maybe that’s why the cover seems so out of place for August. Olivia isn’t really promoting anything these days, but has a list of movies in the works. Maybe she’s just promoting her upcoming marriage to comedian Jason Sudeikis? The two got engaged last winter, and they seem totally in love.

On being comfortable in the here and now: “I’m pretty comfortable in my own skin. I’m not the neurotic type. I don’t think there are things lurking everywhere to destroy me. I live pretty much in the present.”

On her fiance Jason Sudeikis: “I like having a real partner. It’s the model I grew up with. It’s part of why I was able to take so many chances in my life, because I felt like someone was watching my back. I could never imagine life without someone I respect, someone who offers me infinite possibilities.”

On the ups and downs of dating in Hollywood: “There are spikes and dips and plateaus in this business. I’ve seen couples fall apart through it, and it is heartbreaking. You wonder what will happen–will he love me if I’m not as successful? Will jealousy kill us? I know there will be times when Jason is working more than I am, but I’m actually excited by that. I’m excited by what he will become, what depth he has.”

Get The Look: Olivia Wilde in Revlon at the 2013 Met Gala

REVLON BRAND AMBASSADOR OLIVIA WILDE AT THE 2013 MET GALA

REVLON Global Brand Ambassador Olivia Wilde attended the 2013 Costume Institute Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, to celebrate the museum’s new exhibition, “Punk: Chaos to Couture,” in New York City on Monday, May 6th. Celebrity Makeup Artist, Melanie Inglessis, created bold eyes with a focus on heavy liner to complement Olivia’s Calvin Klein cut-out gown, for a sophisticated look with a punk twist.

“I wanted to play off this year’s Met Gala theme as inspiration for Olivia’s look,” said Inglessis. “Olivia has the most beautiful eyes so we really wanted to focus on that. We didn’t want to go too literal, so we opted for a classic black eye liner but double lined it with a white liner to complement Olivia’s white and black dress. To create the eye look I started with a black kajal liner and drew a beautiful, simple line with a very soft winged end. Once I was happy with the shape, I went over it with a crème gel liner to seal the line and keep it looking really black and bold all night. Next I used the white end of the kajal liner and drew a second line above the black on the upper lid. To finish the eyes I smudged a grey cream shadow into the lower lid, curled the lashes twice and swept on three coats of mascara for a tacky somewhat clumpy look.”
