Nicole Kidman has just signed on to star in Jimmy Choo’s upcoming fall campaign, which will be shot by Mikael Jansson!

The shoe company said the campaign has a “cinematic feel that hints at the power and seduction of the Jimmy Choo woman.”

It is slated to break in the August editions of titles including British and American Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar, Vanity Fair, Elle, and W.

The campaign is Sandra Choi’s first as sole creative director of the company.

“Nicole is one of the finest actresses in the world,” said Choi. “I knew [she] could convey the empowered glamour of the brand. But she is also so nuanced and refined; she brings an attitude of defiance, strength, sensuality and elegance.”

Kidman said she has always loved fashion, “and often use it as a way to get into character.”

The actress is part of the eight-person jury of the Cannes film festival, which opens Wednesday and runs through May 26.

It has taken a very long time, 11 years to be exact, for Nicole Kidman to open up about her very painful divorce from Tom Cruise. At the time, they seemed like Hollywood’s perfect couple. Then Tom Cruise shocked not only all of us, but his wife, by walking out.

11 years since Tom split, Nicole is finally read to talk about the ‘shock’ of her marriage ending.

‘I thought our life together was perfect,’ the actress told DuJour magazine, admitting she was blindsided by the actor’s decision to end their ten-year union.

‘It took me a very long time to heal. It was a shock to my system.’

The Australian actress claims the pair had a happy marriage.

‘We were in a bubble, just the two of us. We became very dependent on one another.’

Nicole, who is now happily married to country star Keith Urban, married the Hollywood superstar when she was just 23.

‘I was reeling with Tom,’ she now says. ‘I would have gone to the ends of the earth for him…. I was totally smitten – I fell madly, passionately in love.’

But the 45-year-old admits: ‘I was so impulsive and naive.’

Nicole says her life has recovered and she is happier than ever.

‘I’m happier than I’ve ever been in my life,’ she tells DuJour.

‘I’m living in a friend’s house in Nice [to film a biopic of Princess Grace Of Monaco]. My two daughters are with me, Sunday Rose, who’s four, and Faith Margaret, who’s two.

‘My mother is about to fly in from Australia to babysit. Then Keith will be arriving… My family is with me. My family.’

And Nicole says they spend as much time together as they can.

‘My life changed. He is a wonderful, caring man and he makes me feel secure. We don’t ever like to be separated.’

The pair have built a family together, something Nicole, who adopted two children with Tom, called a ‘healing experience’.

‘We have a wonderful home life,’ she said. ‘There’s always music. Keith plays the guitar and piano and drums.

‘He’s always composing music.

‘It’s lovely when you have a baby who picks up the drumsticks and plays, wearing angel wings.’

Knowing what we know NOW about Scientology – and more specifically Tom Cruise - I feel so bad for Nicole. I can’t imagine what that felt like first of all – to have your husband walk out on you, and second of all to have him take your kids and turn them against you. I’m happy that Nicole found happiness with Keith Urban, and I believe she is so much happier now. It’s only taken 11 years to get here.

Nicole Kidman definitely shows off her naughty side as she poses on the cover of V Magazine’s September issue!

The 45-year-old Oscar winner wears only a skimpy black and gold skirt, which is so short it shows off her backside.

Photographer Mario Testino took the photographs, and he couldn’t have been happier with his muse.

‘Beautiful, beautiful,’ Testino could be heard saying during the shoot. ‘You are so hot it is beyond! Look at your body! It is incredible,’ he enthused to the movie star.

Nicole took part in the spread to promote her new film, The Paperboy, which gets a limited release in the U.S. on October 5.
Meanwhile Kidman will be honoured at the New York Film Festival.

The Cold Mountain actress – whose movie career has spanned nearly 30 years – will have a special tribute paid to her at the 50th annual festival on October 3, 2012.

Festival director Richard Pena said: ‘Nicole Kidman is one of film’s finest contemporary actresses.

‘Since her breakthrough performance in To Die For and her bold and provocative appearances in Lars Von Trier’s Dogville, Stanley Kubrick’s Eyes Wide Shut, and as Virginia Woolf in Stephen Daldry’s The Hours, Kidman has insisted on finding roles that are complex, bold and demanding.

‘We are excited to honour her with a tribute at the New York Film Festival.’

The long standing director will also be honoured at the gala event when the festival is held between September 28 and October 14.

The 45-year-old Australian will see her latest movie The Paperboy – which she appears in alongside Zac Efron and Matthew McConaughey – shown during the prestigious event.

The blonde actress – who rose to fame in thriller Dead Calm – has since gone onto star in several hit movies including Moulin Rouge, and The Hours which have won her three Golden Globes as well as an Academy Award.

I’m really interested in seeing ‘The Paperboy’. I hope it’s good, I can’t really tell which way it’s going to go.
