Lady Gaga continues to be the face of MAC’s Viva Glam, which she’s done successfully for the past year.

Lady Gaga has been the face of MAC‘s Viva Glam campaign for the past year–her lipstick is a pale nude color–and she’s been working on a fashion project with Nicola Formichetti for the cosmetics brand. Back in March, Gaga put out a call for fans to submit head shots of themselves which would be incorporated into a “masterpiece” of a dress.

Watch Gaga float and stare dreamily, and then release a tiny version of herself which flies away. All while wearing the tallest shoes I think she’s worn to date. The most important part, though, is that this is all to support MACs campaing to fight AIDS through the purchase of their Viva Glam lipsticks. 1) Essie Nail Color in Midnight Cami

When I opened my cute little bag of goodies from Glam, this nail polish was the first thing I pulled out and “ooooohed” over. I took a quick peek at everything else, then went back to this gorgeous polish. I’ve tried on lots of blue polish in the past, and nothing – nothing I tell you – comes even close to how great THIS BLUE is. I’m wearing it now, and I would take a picture but I’ve loved it so much it’s chipping off now, and not beautiful at all. In fact, I’m on my second application. I tried it on that first day – and fell quickly in love. If you like blue polish, heck, even if you don’t – you should give this try. Urban Decay has always been one of my favorite eyeshadow brands. I love how their shadow goes on. It doesn’t take much to get the color/look you’re after. It’s rich – and bold – and gorgeous! Every time! I’m loving their new shade, S&M. It’s a beautiful metallic color. When I tried this shadow, I paired it with the gel liner and mascara I reviewed above. The results were amazing! The three together make the perfect look! Add the lipstick, and voila! You’re looking hot!

Dita Von Teese has teamed up with New York-based nail brand, Kiss, to create a line of retro-inspired press-on nails. Painted in a super shiny and chip resistant cherry red lacquer, the oval-shaped digits mimic a style that was popular during the 1930s and 1940s among Hollywood screen sirens — and a look the Michigan-born beauty has worn for the past 20 years.

She explained to the Telegraph:

“When I was researching style in the early part of my career, I looked very closely at the details of photographs of women of those decades and noticed that they would leave the moon of the nail bed bare; sometimes they would leave a sliver of white at the tip too”, said Von Teese. “So I showed the pictures to my mother, who has been a manicurist for 30 years, and she would patiently paint my nails in this style, sometimes experimenting with colors. All these years later the trend is finally catching on, so I wanted to offer a shortcut to the classic half moon manicure – a way for everyone to wear it without going through the drama of explaining to your manicurist what you want it and how to do it.”
