New from Urban Decay: Rollergirl Nail Kit!

Here it is: a collection of THE six nail shades you’ve gotta have this season. Do your own nails or get them done – just don’t go without this set.

Sexy shimmer, shocking vibrancy and funky glitter – it’s all in this kit of 6 stunning, must-have shades (formulated without toluene, formaldehyde or DBP). Elevate your “at the office” look with Fame, Superfreak and Love Train, and then be amazed how sexy these arresting neutrals look when paired with your favorite cocktail dress and strappy heels. Miss T and Woodstock are striking brights that add an element of daring to both casual and nighttime looks, while Xanadu gives your nails a full-throttle dose of rockstar edge. (Wear Xanadu alone, or layer a coat of this dynamic purple glitter over your favorite nail polish to add texture and make it pop.)

These pocket-sized bottles are highly portable and a great value, because let’s face it – by the time you’re even close to finishing them, you’ll be asking us for next season’s hot new colors. Larger bottles just end up going to waste! The collection comes housed in a box adorned with a 70s-inspired pink and gold foil design and a picture of Rollergirl. Yes, it’s fantastically gift-ready… but you’ll want to gift yourself with this set first.

Included in this kit: Fame (shimmery beige), Superfreak (gold glitter), Xanadu (Purple Glitter), Miss T (pearly fuchsia), Woodstock (hot pink) and Love Train (iridescent white)

Tickled Pink: OPI’s Nice Stems Nail Polish Collection

OPI’s new Nice Stems! nail polish collection has us tickled pink. The cult nail brand has blended four floral-inspired lacquers that beg to be painted on fingers and toes.

Can’t you just see one of these pink shades peeking out of your favorite pair of nude sandals?

“These vibrant, feminine hues complement ’60s ladylike fashions, ’70s glam looks, and bold color-blocking, which are the season’s staples,” says Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, OPI executive vice president and artistic director. “The Nice Stems! collection also offers an interesting contrast and feminine accent to the punk and biker looks on the runways.”

The collection includes: Play the Peonies, a soft-pink; Come to Poppy, a shimmering coral-pink; Be a Dahlia Won’t You, a fabulous fuchsia; and I Lily Love You, a sparkling pink.

To instantly bright up your mani or pedi, Weiss-Fischmann suggests layering on I Lily Love You to achieve a shimmering 3-dimensional effect.

“I Lily Love You is a glitter coat that can be layered over any of the other three shades to add a bright sparkle; or, it can be worn on its own for a subtle tint of pink with strands of glitter,” she says.

The Nice Stems! nail polish collection ($8.50) will be available June 2011 Dillard’s, Regis and ULTA.

Tori Spelling paints her son’s fingernails

Tori Spelling Tweeted the picture above this morning on her Twitter saying, “This is what I woke up to this morning. Perfect way to start the day…”

It’s a precious picture of husband Dean McDermott, and son Liam, 4. I noticed right away that Liam’s nails are painted.

We’ve talked lately about painting our sons nails – and how we feel about it. It’s certainly a hot topic!

What’s your opinion?

HOW TO: Glam shows us how to get newspaper print fingernails!

We’re pretty simple when it comes to our nails. An inky black manicure is our go-to look as of late, but after spotting newspaper print over a pared-down putty pastel hue, we’re starting to rethink our polish position.

Go here to find out how to recreate these nails on your own!
