Miley Cyrus goes nude for Marc Jacobs!

Miley Cyrus went nude for Marc Jacobs, but all in the name of charity.

The 20-year-old singer stripped down to the buff for Marc’s “Protect The Skin You’re In” campaign, which raises money for the New York University Skin Cancer Institute. Miley showed off the new T-shirt on her Twitter account last night.

On the t-shirt, the nude Miley covers her lady bits with her hands. She stands behind the words “Protect the Skin You’re In.” “Ts are available at 9 Marc Jacobs boutiques including SanFran, LA, Chicago, New York, Boston & Savannah GA!” Cyrus announced.

Previous celebrities who have stripped for the “Protect The Skin You’re In” campaign include Victoria Beckham, Heidi Klum, Miranda Kerr, Dita Von Teese, Naomi Campbell, Bar Refaeli, Chloe Sevigny, Noah Mills, Marisa Miller, Doutzen Kroes, DJ Ruckus, Helena Christensen and Rufus Wainwright.

Cyrus — known for her skimpy, midriff-baring outfits — is gearing up for the release of her fourth studio album. Her second single, “23,” features Wiz Khalifa and Juicy J and will premiere on Monday, Aug. 26.

At least Miley’s mouth is closed!

Miley Cyrus didn’t mean for her hair to change her life, it just did.

Miley Cyrus LOVES her haircut, and what it did for her as a person. She feels like her haircut changed her life. I don’t know if it was the hair that changed her life – or if she changed around the same time she cut her hair, but who knows. She certainly is not the same person she used to be with her longer, brown hair. She’s gone all sorts of crazy on us. Walking around without pants, a bra, you name it!

Miley sat down with the Toronto Sun and talked about her hair, her new music video for “We Can’t Stop,” being named #1 on the Maxim Hot 100 list and more!

Don’t take her so seriously: “People don’t realize actually how pun-ny it is when I’m doing things. They’re like, ‘It really feels like you can’t stop.’ ‘It is!’ … What is making my (new) record consistent is the fact that (the songs are) all different and that’s where I am. I’m at a point where it’s like I know who I am, but I’m know that I’m not finished figuring that out and I won’t finished be until I’m in the dirt.”

Her “We Can’t Stop” video: “People are watching like, ‘Cute cat plays with yarn,’ for three hours a lot more than they’re watching anyone else’s music video. And it’s because it makes them happy, it makes them laugh, whatever. So I wanted my video to make people laugh ‘cause I’m the first one to make jokes at myself. My godmother is Dolly Parton who is constantly making fun of herself. She’s like, ‘It takes a lot of money to look this cheap, honey.’ … I wanted the video to be that kind of confident.”

Her hair: “No one would have planned a haircut to change my life. I didn’t plan a haircut to change my life. I just cut my hair and then it really changed my life. There’s something about having no hair that it screams being confident. And I think especially because people like to put people in a box, I mean the names I’ve been called since I cut my hair.”

She was called a lesbian: “Everyone said I was a lesbian but I’m like, ‘Being a lesbian isn’t a bad thing. So if you think I look a lesbian, I’m not offended. You can call me much worse.’ I’ve been called much worse. Being a lesbian is a compliment more than what else they call me.”

#1 on Maxim’s list: “People think short hair, they think tom boy … and I’ve obviously done the opposite ’cause when I cut my hair, I did my first Maxim cover where I got No. 1 (in their annual hot list). And it wasn’t about me being the sexiest. It was about the fans voting. But it’s something I loved. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a Maxim cover with a girl with short hair.”

I don’t know if her hair deserves all the credit for her transformation. She just grew up – right? She’s becoming a woman and figuring out who she is – and for that – I commend her. I may not understand her 90% of the time, but she’s just finding herself. Who cares what she does to her hair – or what she wears. She can’t be a role model for young girls her whole life – can you imagine the pressure?

Maxim names Miley Cyrus #1 on their Hot 100 List!

Miley Cyrus has been named Number 1 on Maxim’s annual Hot 100 list. She was so excited, she broke the news early on Twitter, before the magazine had a chance to do it themselves.

“Didn’t know this was coming out yet! I’m so happy to be #1 on Maxim’s HOT 100! #myfanskickass #dreamsdocometrue,” she tweeted on Friday.

She posted the Maxim photo on her newly-started Instagram account. The 20-year-old wore a gold swimsuit against a white background. “My 1st Instagram is dedicated to all my fans,” she wrote. “Thank you for crowning me #1 [on] Maxim’s Hot 100.”

Last year’s number one was Bar Refaeli. Miley Cyrus made the list last year, but came in at number 68. So men like Miley’s bolder image these days? Of her recent racy V Magazine shoot, she said, “I’m going to change, I’m going to be different, I’m going to do what I want to do. I chopped my hair and bought a pair of Docs and never looked back.”

Miley Cyrus’ new V Magazine Shoot: Hot or Too Much?

This is the second magazine cover we’ve seen featuring Miley Cyrus this week, and this one is much racier than the last! If I’m being honest (and why not, it’s my blog), these pictures really gross me out. I don’t think they’re sexy at all…they just look…. desperate.

The former Disney star lands the cover of V Magazine’s Summer issue, and inside the magazine we see Miley as we’ve never seen her before. In the interview, she opens up about her new album, her fiance Liam Hemsworth and more.
