Miley Cyrus is the new face of MAC’s Viva Glam campaign! Color me shocked!

I’m actually surprised it’s taken this long. If anything screams Viva Glam – it’s Miley. What do you think of their collaboration?

For the last 20 years, MAC’s Viva Glam campaign has been teaming up with passionate celebrities to create capsule collections of lipsticks and glosses that raise funds and awareness for HIV/AIDS programs (every cent of the sale price goes to the cause). Now, Miley Cyrus joins the ranks of Rihanna, Nicki Minaj and Lady Gaga as the latest spokesperson for the campaign, which launches in January 2015 with a hot pink lipstick and sparkly gloss.

God save us all, Miley Cyrus made her Fashion Week debut this week.

Miley Cyrus collaborated with designer Jeremy Scott for a new collection. It’s as bad as you’d imagine (in my ever-so-humble opinion).

Scott, who designs for Moschino and his own line, designed clothes and accessories alongside the controversial singer. Miley named her accessories “Dirty Hippie,” and I find that awfully appropriate, don’t you?

Ok serious question. Do you think there’s something really wrong with Miley? I’m worried.

Scott’s collection looked like a ’70s kaleidoscope of color with mixed floral prints and patchwork. There was also an effortless surfer vibe on display as male models sported shoulder-length, tousled blonde hair.

Cyrus’ collection only added to the chaos — the celeb accessorized Scott’s looks with EDM-inspired beaded jewelry including bracelets, necklaces and headpieces complete with marijuana leaves and furry pom-poms. Time magazine called Cyrus’ pieces a “high-DIY-project.” The Guardian said her accessories looked “like they’re made of kids’ toys.”

The jewelry collection, alongside sculptures and other pieces, will be on display at V Magazine’s office in New York City. Cyrus said her work was inspired from her fans, her tour, and turning what she called “shitty” moments from 2014 into something positive.

Take a look at the outrageous collection below.

Miley Cyrus goes nude to help sell magazines.

Seems like magazine sales are low for V Magazine! The magazine released a sneak peek of their upcoming Rebel Issue, via Miley Cyrus‘ Instagram page.

The singer appears naked – on a pile of stuffed animals – with the word “Subscribe” covering up her lady bits. The photos were taken by Karl Lagerfeld, and she was styled by Carlyne Cerf De Dudzeele.

Apparently on the cover of the magazine, Miley appears in furry, blue bodysuit (can’t wait!).

V explains the idea behind the Rebel Issue:

V91 focuses on the art of rebellion. But before you think us punks or misfits, it should be noted that we’re not necessarily talking about that type of rebellion associated with being deliberately defiant or rowdy, but rather with the idea of taking ownership of one’s ideas and craft and not compromising even when difficult situations arise. Staying true to one’s self and one’s art, no matter what, takes courage and discipline, which is vital to any artist’s survival.

Miley Cyrus covers the Women in Music issue for Elle Magazine

ELLE’s May issue is devoted to women in music, so who better than the Bangerz girl herself for the cover? Miley Cyrus looked very natural and absolutely stunning while shooting the issue, one could say she is quite comfortable in her own skin.

Hair Look:
Wella Professionals Celebrity Stylist, Andy LeCompte created a texturized style for Miley’s platinum pixie. It looked remarkable with the minimal makeup and her sparkly Marc Jacobs jumpsuit.

Feeling motivated to join in the Hollywood pixie trend? Here are some tips on how Andy achieved the severely chic short-haired style.

Andy LeCompte created lightweight style by starting with a strong base for hair using Wella Professionals Brilliance Shampoo and Conditioner for color-treated hair. He primed Miley’s wet hair with Wella Professionals Oil Reflections to increase shine to overall end look. Then, blowing hair dry in all directions, he roughly used his hands and a small ceramic brush to tousle locks. Andy finished by spraying leave in conditioner onto his hands and ran through Miley’s hair, giving moisture as well as that much desired texture seen on the cover.
