Below are mark’s Celebrity Makeup Artist Mai Quynh’s makeup tricks for creating Ashley’s gorgeous look.

Face:
”I began by applying mark Calm & Composed Super-Soothing Moisturizer all over Ashley’s face. After creating a clean, moisturized base, I used mark Primed for Perfection Face Primer. Then, I applied mark Min-A-Real Cream-To-Powder Foundation in Natural using the mark Foundation Brush. To take care of any imperfections, I used mark Good Riddance Hook Up Concealer in Light/Medium under Ashley’s eyes and around her nose.”

Cheeks:
“For a soft, healthy flush, I brushed on mark Just Pinched Instant Blush Tint in Cheeky using the mark Foundation Brush to the apples of Ashley’s cheeks. Then, I dusted mark Matte-Nificent Oil-Absorbing Powder in Buff/Natural to set the look. For an extra glow factor, I layered mark Good Glowing Custom Pick Powder Blush in Cameo Glo using the mark Blush + Bronzer Brush.”

Eyes:
“I prepped Ashley’s eyes with mark Please Hold Eye Primer in Light/Medium. Next, I applied mark Keep it Going Longwear Eyeliner & Shadow in Exposure to her eyelid, from her lash line to her crease using the mark Flat Eyeliner Brush. Then, I applied mark I-Mark Custom Pick Eye Shadow in Java to her crease, blending it outward. To begin lining Ashley’s eyes, I used mark Keep it Going Longwear Eyeliner & Shadow in Entourage along her top and bottom lash lines using the mark Flat Eyeliner Brush. I extended the liner upwards and outwards for a cat eye effect. I finished Ashley’s eyes with two coats of mark Lash All You Want High-Volume Mascara in Black to her top and bottom lashes.”

Lips:
“For Ashley’s lips, I used mark Lipclick Full Color Lipstick in Toasty and mark Pro Gloss Hook Up Lip Gloss in Swell to create a gorgeous, natural smile.”

Ashley Greene for mark cosmetics!

Ashley Greene, who plays Alice in the Twilight films has taken over as mark Cosmetics newest face! She’s following in the footsteps of Lauren Conrad, who was the former brand spokeswoman. Below is a behind-the-scenes look at her first photo shoot for the brand.

I’ve met Ashley Greene twice now at the MTV Movie Awards, and I can say with first-hand knowledge that she is absolutely stunning. I swear she doesn’t have a single pore on her skin. She is just radiant. She’s just as sweet as she seems, and she has flawless beauty.

Ashley Greene is the new face of Mark Cosmetics!

Lauren Conrad has been replaced! Since her contract with Mark cosmetics has expired, the company has announced that they’ve swooped up the beautiful Ashley Greene to take over the role as spokesperson!

Twilight’s Ashley Greene said the message behind the makeup was what has made her new endorsement even more rewarding. The company’s m.powerment fund helps raise awareness to end the cycle of dating abuse and violence.

“Initially, I was drawn to mark because of the products,” the 23-year-old actress said. “But what really sealed the deal was its empowering message to young women, which is something I relate to.”

“Ashley has a natural beauty, but I love that she experiments with fashion,” says Claudia Poccia, the global president of Mark, a division of Avon. “She mixes it up and makes it her own.”

Greene’s campaigns for Mark are expected to appear in magazines and on TV later this year.

Can’t wait to see the new ads!

Next, I used a Foundation Brush to lightly apply mark Speedway Do Everything Makeup in Nude covering any imperfections and mark Get Bright Hook Up Highlighter in Light for under the eye area. Then I matted down the t-zone area with mark Cheat Sheet Shine Blotters while keeping her cheeks dewy with mark Just Pinched Instant Blush Tint in Nude.

Eyes

“I began by applying mark Mini Mark It Stick Hook Up Stick for Eyes in Gold Opal into the inner corners of Rose’s eyes followed by mark I-mark Custom Pick Eye Shadow in Nomadic. On the rest of her lid and crease I used mark I-mark Custom Pick Eye Shadow in Magic blended with Gioia on the outer corner of her lid. Eyes

“Nikki has gorgeous dark eyes that I really wanted to play up. I started by smudging mark Eyemarker Color On Line in Java along her upper lash line, followed by two coats of mark Scanda-Lash Hook Up Mascara on the top lashes. For her bottom lashes, I took the tip of the mascara wand and carefully coated each lash for definition, then brushed it out with the wand for separation. I finished by applying mark I-mark Custom Pick Eyeshadow in Nomadic to her lids and Fairy Dust in her crease.”

Face

“I applied mark Face Xpert Flawless Touch Makeup in Natural to create a smooth canvas followed by mark Get Bright Hook Up Highlighter under her eyes to hide any signs of dark circles. I finished by applying a combination of mark Good Glowing Custom Pick Powder Blush in Cameo Glo to the apples of her cheeks, and mark Glow Xpert Face Shimmer in Champagne to the top portion to really bring out the contours of her cheekbones. To create an overall matte finish, I used mark Cheat Sheet Shine Blotters.”

Get the Look – LC at Avon Hope Honors Gala!‏

mark Spokeswoman, Lauren Conrad looked both beautiful and sophisticated in a retro, 1940’s look at last night’s Avon Hope Honors Gala. Lauren attended the star-studded benefit on behalf of m.powerment by mark, the philanthropic initiative dedicated to breaking the cycle of dating abuse and partner violence. Celebrity Makeup Artist Amy Nadine gave her secrets for creating the glammed up look, reminiscent of Lana Turner and Rita Hayworth.

How to Get Lauren’s Retro Look:

Face

“For a perfectly polished complexion, I evened out Lauren’s skin tone with mark Powder Buff Natural Skin Foundation in Natural, for a super-velvety finish. To emphasize the delicate contours of her face, I applied mark Bronze Pro Bronzing Powder starting in the hollow of her cheeks, then directly under her cheekbones, up to her temples, across her hairline and under her jaw line. I then swirled mark Good Glowing Custom Pick Powder Blush in Star Glo on the apples of her cheeks for a subtle rosy glow.”

Eyes

“Lauren loves her signature winged out liquid liner look which I amped up tonight by drawing mark Get In Line Hook Up Liquid Waterproof Eyeliner in Painted Black a little thicker in the outer corners of her eyes. I then coated her lashes in mark Make It Big Lash Plumping Mascara in Raven for thickness and length and added individual lashes to complete the look.”

Lips

“I gave Lauren a classic old-Hollywood red pout with mark Dew Drenched Moisturlicious Lip Color in Wave, a true Hollywood red that is warm enough to look gorgeous on everyone. To properly set the color to last all evening, I dipped a cotton swab in mark Matte-nificent Oil-Absorbing Powder in Natural Buff and carefully traced the outer rims of the lips. For that final touch of extra impact and depth, I added a dab of mark Belle of the Ball Lip Balm in Sheer Red in the center of the lips with my finger.”

m.powerment by mark

Not only is October Breast Cancer Awareness Month, but it’s also a time dedicated to raising awareness for a shockingly prevalent issue facing women of all ages: domestic violence. Unfortunately, statistics show that the highest rates of partner violence are experienced by women between the ages of 16 and 24. That’s a fact we can’t ignore.

The m.powerment by mark campaign is providing young women with the opportunity to change this statistic. mark teamed up with Lauren Conrad, honorary co-chair of this philanthropic initiative, and her favorite Celebrity Makeup Artist, Amy Nadine, to launch two new shades of mark Glow Baby Glow Hook Up Lip Gloss in support of the initiative. 100% of the net proceeds from purchasing either Glow Baby Glow Hook Up Lip Gloss m.powerment Peach or m.powerment Gold will be donated to m.powerment by mark. The glosses retail for $5.50 and are available on www.meetmark.com or through a mark rep.
