‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ makeup, lingerie and more coming soon!

It was only a matter of time before the promotional team behind ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ ventured into the products department.

Caroline Mickler Ltd., a U.K. agency, announced today that it will take on all licensing duties for the “Fifty Shades Of Grey” brand, bestowing the erotica novel’s name and cache on a whole slew of products.

“Among the diverse categories being discussed by Caroline Mickler Ltd for licensing,” reads the press release, “are lingerie/sleepwear, apparel, fragrances, beauty products, bedding, home furnishings, stationery, jewelry and adult products.”

That means you could drift to sleep (or, um, stay up all night) in a “Fifty Shades”-inspired negligee (we’re picturing black leather straps), apply your makeup with a whip-shaped brush, or send your neighbors a thank you note on handcuff-embossed note cards.

How many of you have read ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’? C’mon, you can be honest! I’m almost done with the first book. It’s no literary masterpiece, but it’s entertaining enough. I’m not so obsessed that I would buy any ‘Fifty’ products though!

It was only a matter of time: Kim, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian launch a makeup line!

I’m surprised it’s taken them this long! In fact, I think I thought they already HAD a makeup line! Guess not! E! is reporting that the celebrity threesome are launching their own makeup line, called Khroma Beauty.

Between books, fragrances, clothes, swimwear, and a home collection (but no prepaid debit cards), we were just anxiously waiting for Kourtney, Khloé and Kim Kardashian to scramble together a cosmetic line—after all, they know their makeup—and just as we’d hoped, it happened.

Say hello to Khroma Beauty.

“We’re so excited to partner with Boldface Licensing+Branding on this new venture. There’s a glam girl in all of us and it’s a dream come true to have our own makeup line and to share it with women around the world,” the Kardashian sisters said in a statement.

If you’re getting a head start as to what you want from Santa this year, don’t hesitate to put Khroma Beauty products on your list. The E! stars will be releasing a special holiday assortment in Ulta stores this December, which will feature eyelashes, mascaras and Kardazzle Compacts. A larger array of products will launch in early 2013.

The ladies tell E! News, “Makeup has been an essential part of our lives for so long. Like fashion, it’s always changing and evolving just as we do and we can’t wait to share this new venture with our fans!”

According to the press release, the new line is said to bring a “luxury feel and quality to the mass customer, with exquisite formulas to emulate the eyes, lips and complexion looks for which the Kardashian sisters are famous.”

I never think any of their makeup looks very good, it’s so fake and plastic and slathered on with a paint roller. I take that back – I’m mainly talking about Kim’s makeup…. it’s beyond bad. Kourtney and Khloe don’t ever look as bad.
