Salma Hayek debuted her 100-piece Nuance cosmetics line for CVS on Thursday, Women’s Wear Daily reports.

The actress quickly dispelled any sentiments that this would be another celeb-dabbles-in-beauty disaster, explaining to the fashion newspaper, “I took three years off my [acting] career to work on this. This is not something that required 14 hours. Nooo, baby. This has been a full-time job.”

She added that she, herself, attended appointments with labs and suppliers “who didn’t mind some crazy Mexican coming to them over and over and over again asking them to change something,” noting, “I am not easy…I mean, I am a double Virgo.”

The line was inspired by her grandmother, a cosmetologist who learned from the greats at Vichy in Paris and used Native American and Mayan treatments in her products. It’s all slated to hit shelves come August, priced between $7.99 and $19.99.
