Gwen Stefani: “Makeup goes on every day, even if I’m not going anywhere”

Gwen Stefani is InStyle’s November cover girl. In the magazine Gwen opens up about her daily beauty routine. Gwen reveals that she has a rather addiction to dying her hair, which she claims to dye as often as Marilyn Monroe did. She also admits that she doesn’t leave the house without makeup.

In this issue, the rock star designer opens up about doing so much in so many arenas—fashion (she launches her third line Harajuku Mini for Target mid-November), music (a new No Doubt album is slated for next year), and family (“being a mother is probably the most challenging thing I do,” she says of parenting Kingston, 5, and Zuma, 3, with husband Gavin Rossdale).

Whatever she’s doing, it works, because she looks amazing! Considering she’s 42-years-old (can you believe that!?) she’s definitely doing something right!

Gwen on finding balance: “At work I’ve learned how to delegate. You don’t have to be on a ladder in a warehouse, micromanaging. You can be at home. And teamwork is also such a big part of marriage and parenting.”

On making time for her sons: “The thing I’d like to do is enjoy these boys while they’re young – so I don’t regret I was working too much when they’re big and don’t want to cuddle with me anymore.”

Her trademark blonde: “My hair color is L’Oréal, but I won’t reveal the number. And I do my roots as often as Marilyn Monroe did hers. I’m serious. I found out.”

The one time she went red: “Right after we came home from the first No Doubt tour I felt like I might get recognized, so I colored my hair red. And I hated it.”

Her makeup: “The makeup goes on every day, even if I’m not going anywhere.”

Check out Katy Perry’s pink-haired InStyle cover!

Katy Perry is InStyle’s October 2011 cover girl! The pink-haired singer opens up to the magazine about her feisty side!

“I’m not going to sit and be steamrolled,” she says. “I am full of unicorns and Care Bears 99 percent of the time, but don’t open Pandora’s Box of that other 1 percent — because it’s there!” She also divulges on details about her tour makeup process, “I ordered a special chair from the dentist so I can lie back and wake up looking like a million bucks — I call it my Sleeping Beauty makeup.”

Katy also chats about having kids (not yet, guys!) and clues fans in on her red carpet style: “I kind of use this inner dial: Either I turn it up or down.” No word on if she’s going to launch her own “Perry Pink” hair color line anytime soon.

Rachel Weisz doesn’t look like herself on the cover of Another Magazine

Actress Rachel Weisz is naturally so gorgeous – what the heck were they thinking making her up like this? Such a strange cover!

2011 has been a good year for Rachel Weisz. Not only did she surprise everyone by marrying her “Dream House” co-star Daniel Craig in June, but she has also become quite the cover star.

The 41-year-old actress posed for WSJ. Magazine’s Fashion Issue in September, she landed the October cover of Lucky and now she appears in quite dramatic fashion on the Autumn/Winter 2011 issue of AnOther.

Shot by Craig McDean, the cover photo finds Weisz wearing a mustard coat, electric blue eye shadow and bright, matte red lips… and inexplicably, she is holding a goat.

It’s a more avant garde turn for Weisz, whose red carpet looks tend towards the simpler side of things.

Then again, she also took it all off for her Bulgari campaign, in which she embraces an oversized Jasmin Noir perfume bottle while lying on a lion. It’s hard to know what to expect from this beauty.

She’s definitely looked better – but I forgive her. She’s still gorgeous!

Gwyneth Paltrow says no to plastic surgery…except for one procedure

Gwyneth Paltrow recently opened up to OK! Magazine about plastic surgery. The 38-year-old actress, who looks absolutely amazing, looks this way – naturally. She hates the idea of plastic surgery, but she’s NOT opposed to all surgical help!

As a devotee of brutal Tracy Anderson workouts and super healthy food, we’d imagine Mrs. Chris Martin would do anything to keep her young body.

Alas, we were mistaken: cosmetic surgery, Paltrow told OK!, is “vanity.” The only body part she might operate on, she admits, are her breasts.

“Before I didn’t care about it. And I still refuse to use silicone, Botox or other of those gimmicks out of pure vanity,” the actress said. “But a breast correction after breast feeding — why not?”

She can say what she wants, but we don’t believe for a second that Gwyneth needs any part of her body altered. The star struck a pose on the September cover of Elle, looking fresh-faced (if not a tad serious) and slender as can be.

She told the magazine, “People come up to me and say, ‘I want to have two kids and wear a bathing suit and not feel terrible about myself. I see how hard you work and it makes me feel like I can do that too.’”

Whatever she’s doing – she needs to keep it up. She looks absolutely gorgeous!

Here’s the latest cover of Elle Magazine, and she looks fantastic!!
