Halle Berry lands the cover of November’s InStyle magazine, and she looks absolutely gorgeous! She looks stunning in a tight red cutout dress, looking hotter than ever (she just gets better with age!).
In the interview, Halle talks about her custody battle with her ex Gabriel Aubrey. She desperately wants to move her daugther Nahla to France, where her fiance Olivier Martinez lives. She claims she wants to remove Nahla from the constant presence of the paparazzi.
On why she wants to move to France
“It’s the appeal of privacy and a greater sense of safety for Nahla. I don’t want her to grow up around the tabloids. Because we are followed all the time, she is starting to feel like she is somehow special, and of course she is, but I want her to understand that she’s special because of who she is, not because she was born into this celebrity blender.”
On her custody battle
“There is turbulence, bit this too shall pass.”
On her wedding plans:
“I do know it will be very small. I haven’t been to many weddings, but I went to one this weekend with 250 guests. I thought, Wow – so this is a wedding, huh? I’ve never had that, nor have I wanted that. I wasn’t even trying to catch the bouquet!”
On her fiance Olivier Martinez:
“When I first met Olivier, there wasn’t the initial ‘I’m in love!’ It was something that grew more gradually—and it feels more real because of that. [Marriage] is another one of those never-say-never things. I’m a hopeless romantic, and I won’t stop till I get it right!”
“He’s silly, a clown, and very much the life of the party, which is good for someone like me. Danny Downer … been there, done that. Now I like Louie Lightfoot!”
On aging in Hollywood:
“Throughout my career I have been talked out of things I wanted to do, and when I look back I think, I should have followed my instincts. I relied on others to guide me because I thought they knew better. But as I’ve gotten older, I’ve learned to trust myself. Don’t stress about your age or fight it. Appreciate the young women who look like you once did, but don’t strive to be like them. You’re moving into a new phase of your life—embrace it. That’s what I hope to do.”
On not being defined by her hairstyle:
“I think I am at my best when my hair is short. It’s easier to take care of and more of who I am. Women are conditioned to think we need long hair. I see that happening with my daughter. She is so in love with her hair right now. She says, ‘Look, Mommy—it’s so long!” As women, we think it defines us, and we learn that at a young age.”
I think it’s a great interview, and she seems very open and honest. Whether or not she’s being entirely honest about the moving to France situation, meh…. who knows. I think she wants away from her ex more than she wants to be away for Nahla’s sake. But who knows.

Ashley Greene covers the November issue of Marie Claire, and inside the magazine she has lots to say about ‘Twilight’ and how it’s changed who she is. The actress reveals how she’s dealing with her newfound fame, and more importantly how she copes with it.
“It was a hard adjustment going from zero to 100 in a day,” the 25-year-old “Breaking Dawn – Part 2″ star tells the magazine. “But it was also hard to talk to [friends], because you don’t want to be a jerk. After the movie ["Twilight"] came out, some people said, ‘You changed.’ And I said, ‘I haven’t changed, dude. Your opinion of me has changed because I’m working on this film.’ Trust me, my parents would let me know.”
But although some of her pals couldn’t deal with her blossoming career, Greene says she understands that it’s hard to keep in touch with people when you’re always traveling or on location.
“I’m always here and there — everyone in my industry is — and that’s why a lot of relationships are fleeting,” she explains. “I’ve gotten very good at detaching whenever I have to go away for three months, which I realize is hard on friends and kind of selfish.”
As for her love life, Greene says that’s a struggle too, considering she doesn’t have enough time to devote to romance.
“You go on a couple of dates, and then someone ships off to do a movie,” she says. “It’s not like you’re going to fly out and see them, because it’s not serious enough for that.”
As for how she’s adjusting to her life in the spotlight, Greene admits stardom has its perks, including first-class plane tickets.
“‘Twilight’ has ruined me,” Greene, who plays Alice Cullen in the hit franchise, reveals. “When this is all over, flying internationally is going to be very hard for me. It is just not worth it to buy a first-class ticket, because of the cost.”
Still, the money she saves from those international flights will go toward maintaining her new life.
“I’m lucky because my dad taught me to be frugal and save,” she says. “And that’s important because I want to know that I don’t have to take an acting job for two or three years if I don’t want to and that I’ll still be able to make my house and car payments and buy food for my dogs.”
I’ve met Ashley a couple times, and she is shockingly beautiful. She’s tiny and her skin looks like porcelain. She is beyond nice….seems like a really good person. She looks gorgeous in Marie Claire as well!
I’m hoping she realizes that having big ears has nothing to do with bad hygiene. She’s not that dumb, right?
Kim Kardashian has had her fair share of dating men in the entertainment industry, and has two marriages under her belt that didn’t work. Now Kim reveals to Tatler Magazine what are her biggest turn offs, and what is a deal breaker when it comes to dating.
In a behind-the-scenes video, the 31-year-old was asked what turns her off when it comes to men. “Anything to do with bad hygiene, like teeth or nails or big ears. I’m really weird about stuff like that.”
The video goes alongside a spread she has inside the British magazine, showing her getting ready for a photoshoot.
She answered some more quirky questions. On what her last meal would be if she were on Death Row, ”Cheese pizza, Oreo cookie ice-cream and maybe a vanilla cup cake.”
In the article, Kim also opens up about her “best friend” and boyfriend, Kanye West. “It’s so nice to have a best friend in this game who understands everything you’re going through. Being with someone I’ve known for so many years is comforting. He’s been there through so many different stages of my life and before I was famous, so this relationship is a different thing entirely. It’s good to be aware that he definitely doesn’t want anything from me too, because he understands the business. I can’t even think about being with anyone else than the man I’m with.”
After having a number of high-profile relationships in recent years with the likes of Reggie Bush, Miles Austin and her basketball player ex-husband Kris Humphries , Kim admitted she is a ‘hopeless romantic’ and believes every boyfriend she’s ever had has been ‘the one’.
She explained: “When I look back at interviews I gave [about previous boyfriends] saying, “We’re talking about marriage, etc.” It’s embarrassing. And I really believed it at the time!
‘I’m such a hopeless romantic that I’ll always believe the next one is the one.’
Posing in what appeared to be a white wedding dress with ruffle detail, the brunette beauty also hit back at claims her brief 72-day marriage to second husband Kris Humphries was a publicity stunt for Keeping Up with the Kardashians, explaining the failure of the short union was ‘embarrassing’.
‘I mean, that is just not the person I am. Who would honestly get married for ratings? It’s not like the ratings had dropped and we needed a boost,’ Kim added in the Tatler interview.
