Taylor Swift covers British Vogue, looks pretty amazing!

Taylor Swift lands the new cover of British Vogue, and I think she looks great. Different, but great! I don’t even mind the fact that it looks like she’s rockin a mullet! :)

Here’s some interview tidbits from inside, via US Weekly:

Everything has changed for Taylor Swift. Once synonymous with broken hearts, love songs, and high-profile flings, Swift now says that romance is far from her first priority.

“Dating or finding someone is the last thing on my mind,” Swift, 24, said in a new cover story interview for British Vogue. “I can’t picture how it could work with the way my life is. I don’t know how a guy is supposed to walk next to his girlfriend when there are 20 men with cameras, and he can’t protect his girlfriend because that’s the life she chose.”

The stunning singer, who previously dated the likes of Harry Styles, Jake Gyllenhaal, and John Mayer, added that she is actively avoiding a relationship.

“I just don’t see how it could work, so I don’t think about it, and I kind of run from it when it presents itself,” she said. “I don’t think any guy really… They think that they would want to get to know me, and maybe date me, but I don’t think they want what comes with it.”

The “You Belong with Me” singer picked up some tricks from her new model BFF Karlie Kloss for her British Vogue spread, posing for the October issue in a gorgeous photo shoot done by acclaimed photographer Mario Testino. She looks chic and sexy on the cover, sitting with her legs folded under her and wearing a light pink Miu Miu jacket over a pale blue cable knit tank.

It’s a particularly exciting time for Swift, as the rising sartorial star is releasing her fifth studio album, 1989, on Oct. 27. Led by the hit single “Shake It Off,” the all-pop album is a complete, deliberate departure from Swift’s country roots.

“This time around I’ve chosen the brave and bold way of going about things,” she told British Vogue. “Because with this album I’ve completely changed the sound of everything I’ve done until now. So it’s interesting to not be afraid of that. You know, I don’t want to hurt people’s feelings, I don’t want to betray Nashville, whatever, but essentially it comes down to challenging yourself as an artist.”

Khloe Kardashian covers the new Cosmo UK, says “I’m excited for this year to be over with.”

Khloe Kardashian covers the latest issue of Cosmo UK. She looks great, doesn’t she? The interview is on the boring side, if you ask me. She doesn’t really give any dirt on her split from husband Lamar Odom, but talks about it rather cryptically. She’s excited for this year to be over – and to move on to the next phase. And who can blame her? I’d say she definitely had a rough year, and she really gave her marriage a try, it just didn’t pan out. Hoping 2014 is a better year for her!

Other interesting tidbit in the interview is the confession that Kris Jenner told her she needed a nose job – when she was NINE YEARS OLD. NINE!!

For Khloe Kardashian, 2014 represents a departure from the pain that 2013 brought. This year the reality star ended her four-year marriage to NBA player Lamar Odom after months of the basketball player’s rumored drug use and cheating. Now Kardashian, 29, is appearing on the February 2013 cover of British Cosmopolitan, where she opens up about her hopes for next year.

The issue, which goes on sale on Jan. 2 and is available in digital format on Apple Newsstands, features the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star talking about a variety of topics from her divorce to her new niece North West.

Kardashian filed for divorce in 2013, and she’s ready to put the painful year behind her.

“I love the new year, new beginnings,” she said in her cover story. “I need a good fresh start; I’m excited for this year to be over with. You only live once so let’s make that one time perfect. We can’t fix our mistakes and imperfections, so let’s have fun. You get what you give out in life.”

But though she’s excited to put her failed marriage behind her, Kardashian says she has no regrets.

Lena Dunham scores her first-ever fashion magazine cover!

Lena Dunham lands her first-ever fashion magazine cover on this month’s Marie Claire UK. In landing the cover, Lena gets a chance to show off her curves, which she is completely happy with – even proud of.

“My parents [painter Carroll Dunham and photographer Laurie Simmons] both have really healthy attitudes about their own bodies but also about the range of things that can be beautiful,” the 27-year-old Girls creator explains. “But they also just always made me feel pretty and cool and smart, even in the moments when I have known — and still know — that my body wasn’t fitting into a traditional Hollywood idea of the female body.”

Dunham continues that she learned to love her body from a very early age. “This could very easily be taken out of context, and I think it’s funny now, but I remember looking in the mirror as a kid and it would be like for an hour at a time, and I’d be like: ‘I’m just so beautiful. Everybody is so lucky that they get to look at me,’” she said. “And of course that changes as you get older, but I may have held on to that little-kid feeling that was me alone in my bathroom.”

Even though Lena spends much of her time on GIRLS naked, she says she does have an appreciation for fashion. “I’m not saying I am a great candidate for the cover of a fashion magazine,” she admits. “But I do love clothes. People are always surprised to hear that — they think I walk around in a washcloth or something.”

I love me some GIRLS…. I can’t wait for the new season to start!

Shailene Woodley stuns in Flaunt Magazine, confesses to making her own toothpaste, lotions and face oils.

FLAUNT-SHAILENE-192BW-bis-791x1024

We’re about to see and hear a lot more about Shailene Woodley. The actress is set to take on the role of Beatrice Prior in the Young Adult hit book, Divergent. Like Harry Potter, Hunger Games and the like, it is the first installment in a trilogy of books by author Veronica Roth. I’ve seen the trailer… it doesn’t look bad, it just doesn’t really look like my cup of tea. (Trailer after the jump)

I don’t really have much of an opinion on Shailene, I suppose. I never watched her show ‘The Secret Life of a Teenager,’ but I did think she was amazing in the George Clooney movie ‘The Descendants.’

Apparently she’s very spiritual, very hippie, very earthy. I think she calls it alternative. She gathers her own spring water from the mountains (seriously), she makes her own cheese, butter, toothpaste, medicines. She’s very down to earth, you see. I thought the interview was rather interesting, honestly. She seems to have a great outlook on things. I’ll hand it to her. And she’s beautiful. Here’s the interview, much more after the jump!

On her alternative lifestyle: “I think everything about my lifestyle is fairly alternative. I gather my own spring water from mountains every month. I go to a farm to get my food. I make everything from my own toothpaste to my own body lotions and face oils,” she laughs at the long list. “I could go on for hours. I make my own medicines; I don’t get those from doctors. I make my own cheese and forage wild foods and identify wild plants. It’s an entire lifestyle. It’s appealing to my soul.”

On ‘The Secret Life of a Teenager’: “I didn’t like it because if it started to change, I had no control over it. It’s like anything in life, whether you’re an actor or you work in an insurance office, if you want to be able to leave your job, it’s nice to be able to leave your job. But when you’re in a contract, unfortunately, you can’t do that. I’m extremely grateful for it; it was a fantastic five years of my life, but towards the end, morally, the things that we were preaching on that show weren’t really aligned with my own integrity. So that was a bit hard to show up to work every day knowing that we were going to project all of these themes to thousands—millions—of young adults across the country, when in fact they weren’t what I would like to be sending out.”

On playing Beatrice Prior in ‘Divergent’:
“I was extremely passionate about the character, and about the project. I thought that it was worth it to sign on to do another series.”
