Fade to Black with Smashbox!

I’m in love with Smashbox’s Fade to Black lipstick! For Fall, they’ve released two new gorgeous shades. Cognac (warm nude) and Black Cherry (sheer berry). Above is the Black Cherry, and it’s the most beautiful, slightly-darker-than-natural lipstick. This is the kind of lipstick you wear everyday. It feels amazing, looks gorgeous, and you’ll use it down to the nub!

Perfect for Fall, give your lips a scrub!

mhu-reviews-10143

I LOVE LOVE LOVE lip scrubs. There’s something really relaxing about it. I love putting the stuff on, scrubbing away for a couple minutes, then rinsing it off, and feeling how amazing my lips feel afterwards. This is a great lip scrub – and it benefits a great cause!

Get lips to lust over during this year’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Throughout the month of October, Skinn Cosmetics will donate 100% of sales (not profits, every cent of every sale will be donated!) of their Sugar Lips – Polishing Scrub for Lips & Laugh Lines to support Bright Pink, the national nonprofit focused on risk reduction and early detection of breast cancer in young women.

Made with real sugar and a special butter blend, this lip scrub will gently exfoliate dry, flakey skin. Using aloe leaf extract and blended oils derived from sweet almonds, olives, avocados, mangos, pistachios and coconuts, this non-abrasive scrub will relieve chapped lips once and for all, revealing a soft, smooch-able smile.

Apply polish to lips and gently massage in a circular motion. Rinse off with warm water and pat lips dry. For long-lasting results, immediately follow with your favorite Skinn lip treatment. Use two times per week or as needed.

Skinn Cosmetics’ Sugar Lips retails for $20 and is available for purchase on www.skinn.com

I’m absolutely obsessed with Mally Beauty’s New Naturals Lip Veil lipstick in Ginger! How gorgeous is this red? It just screams FALL doesn’t it? I’m not a red-lips kinda girl (blame my small lips) but this one is a must. It goes on gorgeous – and stays put for hours! It comes in a beautiful gold applicator, and will last me forever!

Mally’s New Naturals Lip Veil is the perfect soft and sheer lipstick that gives a naturally pretty flush to your lips. This emollient lipstick smooths on a sheer color and gives your lips the supple shine that brings out the best in any skin tone! It’s just enough for that everyday, easy lip look.

Taylor Swift lands the November cover of InStyle, and she talks all about love.

Taylor Swift lands the November cover of InStyle Magazine, although it looks like a Christmas cover, doesn’t it?

The 23-year-old singer looks beautiful on the new cover. According to Celebrity makeup artist, Taylor is wearing Chanel’s Rouge Allure Lip Color in Pirate for Taylor’s lipstick. I wish I could pull off a red like that!

Taylor admits, “I feel most confident when I have a red lip on,” and I think she looks great!

On her current love life, she admits, “I think that you can love people without it being the great love. Ed [Sheeran] said something that really resonated with me. He says there are different kinds of love: There’s physical attraction, mental attraction, and emotional attraction; there’s also comfort and obsession. You need to have all of those things in one person. You have to mentally respect them, be physically attracted, and have a comfort level. You’re obsessed with them, yet you also know they’re going to stay. I’ve never had that in one person.”

On looking for love. “I think [my taste] needs to change. My friends tease me about the fact that if someone seems bad or shady or like they have a secret, I find them incredibly interesting. That’s just a phase I’ve been in lately. I don’t think this should be how I proceed in life. It’s important to be self-aware about these things because you don’t want to end up with that guy.”

When searching for the right one, “Sometimes you know after two dates that you’re not the right fit. And sometimes you know you’re not the right fit, and you fall for it anyway. One thing I’ve learned that I’m proud of – drum roll, please – is when to walk away. I’ve had some short relationships because I know when to do that.”

Here’s Taylor’s lipstick. Wish I could pull it off! BUY HERE
