I loooooooooooooooove this mascara! It’s the first mascara I’ve tried that really widens the lashes. My eyes look amazing after using this product! I know it’s hard to beat Lancome’s Definicil’s mascara – but I think this one does the trick!! You have to try it!

Julia Roberts Ad Banned Because of Excessive Airbrushing!

Julia Roberts‘ L’Oréal advertisement for Lancôme has been banned in the United Kingdom for excessive airbrushing.

A Maybelline campaign featuring Christy Turlington was also pulled.

The watchdog Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) upheld complaints from politician Jo Swinson, who argues against “overly perfected and unrealistic images” of women in advertisements.

Roberts’ ad promotes Teint Miracle foundation, and was shot by famed photographer Mario Testino. Turlington’s is for an anti-ageing line called The Eraser.

Swinson claims the faces in the digitally altered photos were “not representative of the results the product could achieve.”

“Pictures of flawless skin and super-slim bodies are all around, but they don’t reflect reality,” said Swinson. “Excessive airbrushing and digital manipulation techniques have become the norm, but both Christy Turlington and Julia Roberts are naturally beautiful women who don’t need retouching to look great.”

The ASA agreed, ruling that the Roberts and Turlington ads breached the standards for exaggeration.

“On the basis of the evidence we have received we could not conclude that the ad image accurately illustrated what effect the product could achieve.”

I really love…. Lancome’s Teint Idole Ultra

Lancome’s awesome Teint Idole Ultra is a 14-hour ultra-resistant makeup that delivers flawless, full-coverage that lasts. The retouch-free, oil-free formula features Lancôme’s SoftFeel™ technology glides on to comfort skin with flawless full coverage. Divine comfort leaves skin feeling soft, comfortable and silky-smooth hour after hour.

I have never worn foundation, I think 99% of the time it feels heavy, cakey, and looks terrible. My belief: if you can tell someone’s wearing foundation, they’re wearing terrible foundation. I think you should have a foundation that feels smooth, non-greasy, and to anyone elses eyes, they would never know you were wearing it! I hate that cakey-foundation look. I just think it looks awful.

I absolutely love this foundation.

As I’m getting older, however, I’m getting sun-spots, and other blemishes that I’d rather cover up on my face. I went into Sephora, and told the lady what I was looking for – and she directed me towards this awesome product. It’s spendy – at $42 a bottle – I could see that turning someone off. BUT – here’s the thing… you only need 1 PUMP to cover your face! I use one pump when I wear it, and it will do the job! 1 pump! That’s impressive! It’s gonna last me forever!

I love how easily it goes on, how long it lasts, how it smooths on, and dries smooth, and you can’t even tell I’m wearing it!

Buy it here – or check it out for yourself near you!
