What a great choice! Lily is simply gorgeous, she looks quite a bit like Audrey Hepburn in this photo. I can’t wait to see her ad campaign love the black and white photos of here.

She will be headlining Lancôme’s  Spring 2014 collection, French Ballerine, just the name of it has me excited.

Lancôme Announces New Ambassadress, Lily Collins‏
Rising Hollywood star Lily is the granddaughter of a ballerina and the daughter of musician Phil Collins. A delicate yet confident beauty, she embodies Lancôme’s effortlessly chic look and joie de vivre. She made her breakout film debut years ago in critically adored ‘The Blind Side.’ Now, she transforms seamlessly from wide-eyed ingénue in 2012’s ‘Mirror Mirror’ (alongside Julia Roberts, another Lancôme face) to vampy demon-slayer in 2014’s ‘The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones.’

“It’s an absolute honor and privilege to have been chosen to represent the Maison Lancôme. I have always admired the brand’s unique and distinctive appreciation for inner beauty and grace, elegance and utter radiance. I feel incredibly lucky to be included among the most inspirational women ambassadresses for one of the most prestigious brands in the world. It’s truly a dream come true.”

Introducing Lancome Show by Alber Elbaz!

lancome-star-palette

Fashion designer Alber Elbaz imagines “Hypnôse Show” with Lancôme, a collector and irresistible make-up collection, available worldwide in a limited edition. Unafraid to modernize the codes of luxury, he injected a healthy dose of good mood and of humanity in the Hypnôse mascaras and eye palettes. These were completely restyled with unique patterns by the creator who completes this temporary collection with false lashes showcased in collector illustrated cases.

From red hearts to electric blue stars as well as bright pink polka dots and wide green eyes, Alber Elbaz invents four extravagant atmospheres for Lancôme’s most legendary make-up products.

I got my hands on the Color Design Palette in Midnight Rush – and the Definicils Mascara. Look how GORGEOUS the eyeshadow palette is!? The blues are unbelievably gorgeous.

For the first time, the genius and boldness of Lanvin’s artistic director Alber Elbaz partners with Lancôme’s eye expertise to doll up their must-have eyeshadow palettes. Infinitely luminous and sensationally smooth, this versatile, all-in-one palette conveniently creates a full eye-look for day or night. Its five shades—an all-over color, lid color, crease color, highlighter, and liner—offer high-potency color that instantly brighten the eyes. The silky powders caress the skin, allowing a seamless layering of pure and intense color for a radiant finish.

Defined eyes, doll eyes, star eyes, drama eyes: which one are you? Defined Palette Mint Jolie brings a soft harmony for a feminine look. Doll Palette Rose Coquette offers a chic harmony for a playful eye look. Star Palette Midnight Rush creates a bold harmony for a sculpted eye look. Drama Palette Taupe Craze achieves a hypnotic harmony for a smoky eye look.

The mascara is as amazing as ever! I’ve used Definicils dozens of times, and it never disappoints! Achieve lavishly long, perfectly defined lashes with this award-winning mascara known for providing the ultimate in separation. Carefully selected polymers coat each lash from root to tip to help lengthen and outline each lash for unmatched definition. This bestselling mascara’s unique brush applicator has specially grooved bristles that hold the perfect amount of product for gradual, even application every time.

Jason Wu and Lancôme Collabration In the Works!

This collection looks beautiful, I can’t wait to see the rest of the line. I love a good collaboration collection!

WWD has the first photos of Jason Wu‘s color cosmetics collaboration with Lancôme, set to launch this September during New York Fashion Week.

“I think makeup is one of the closest parts to fashion — it goes hand in hand in almost every single case,” Wu told WWD. “When you have great hair and makeup, it brings out the clothes even more. This project feels very organic to me and is one of my favorite collaborations that I’ve ever done. In so many ways Lancôme shares a lot of the same DNA as my brand — it’s feminine and there’s something quite classic about it that never gets old. I see those qualities within my own designs.”

The collections will include three eye shadow palettes, dark navy mascara and multiple red lipsticks and nail polishes. Compacts and packaging are in Wu’s signature dove gray, with the designer’s name and the Lancôme rose prominently featured.

“Every little detail has been customized and designed for this collaboration, so it feels very special and complete,” Wu said. “I think it will stand out on the beauty floor because I don’t think anyone else is using gray for their collection right now. I think the packaging part is as special as what’s inside.”
