Ashley has the most gorgeous skin so Darais played up her eyes, cheeks and lips. He used Lancôme’s Color Design Liberty Palette in Nude Elegance (NEW from our fall color collection Declaring Indigo) and then applied Lancôme Le Crayon Khôl in Black Coffee to the upper lash line to make Ashley’s eyes pop. Darais added some color to the cheeks with Lancôme Blush Subtil in Miel Glacé. To create her soft coral colored pout, Darais used Lancôme Color Fever Gloss in Solaire. Long, beautiful lashes are all the rage right now so Darais mixed a few Shu Uemura faux-lashes with Ashley’s natural lashes and then applied Lancôme Ôscillation Powerbooster to condition and strengthen the lashes. To finish the look, he coated Ashley’s lashes with several coats of Lancôme’s NEW mascara Hypnôse Drama (which goes on sale tomorrow exclusively at Sephora).

Straight From Paris: Lancôme’s Declaring Indigo Fall Color Collection‏

Hi, everyone. Recently in Paris, the Lancôme makeup team unveiled their Fall 2009 color collection, Declaring Indigo. Created by Lancôme artistic director for makeup Aaron De Mey, this collection celebrates Paris in all its vibrancy. Aaron chose shades that represent the glamour, the energy and the passion of Paris—indigo blue, bright red and luxurious gold.

Lancome debuted a few key shades during Fashion Week. At Chris Benz, all three Le Vernis nail colors were showcased: Golden Audacity, Indigo Paris and Rouge Liberty. Lancôme spokesmodel Daria Werbowy is the face of the collection. She was photographed by Mario Sorrenti for the ad (above).

Declaring Indigo will be available for sale starting in August, but Nordstrom has a limited-edition Declaring Indigo brush-and-makeup bag set available for pre-order now.

Daily Beauty Tip: Full, Kissable Lips!

If you want lips that scream to be smooched, take a cue from Michelle Williams who accentuated her cupid’s bow with subtle lip liner. For added oomph and sexiness, draw light to the peaks of your cupid’s bow using a shimmery white pencil, like Lancome Le Crayon Khol in Blanc.

Get Angelina Jolie’s Red Carpet Look!

Celebrity makeup artist Mary Burton created the glamorous look for Angelina Jolie at the Cannes Film Festival and we’ve got the inside scoop on what she used. To define Angelina’s lashes Mary used two different mascaras, Lancôme Hypnôse in Black and Lancôme Ôscillation in Black and applied a few coats of both to add volume and length. Mary used Lancôme Color Design Lipstick in Candy Apple to create her voluptuous red pout.

Angelina looked stunning (in Versace) as she walked the red carpet for the premiere of Brad Pitt’s new movie Inglourious Basterds directed by Quentin Tarantino.
