Here it is!! Lady Gaga lands the September issue of Vogue!

Lady Gaga’s cover for Vogue’s September issue has finally arrived!

It was revealed in June that the singer would grace the magazine’s biggest issue of the year. This is Gaga’s second time on the cover of Vogue (you can see her cover from last year here!).

Gaga started teasing fans on Tuesday, letting them know the cover was on it’s way. “Don’t worry I’ve been txting Wintour all morning trying to get that cover queens. next im sending bagels to VOGUE (complex carbohydrate war)”

Gaga posted an image of the cover – plus one more – on Twitter.

Describing the cover image, Lady Gaga wrote, “I’m totally channeling fozzibear.” She’s not so off-base: her hair, blonde this time (not creamy pink) is teased into a majorly furry mess onto the top of her head. The volume on top is matched by volume below in the form of a striking magenta Marc Jacobs dress, billowing at the hips and splaying out with a mermaid hem. Inside the mag, Gaga poses in the buff with a giant Steven Jones hat, also in magenta.

What do you think of Gaga’s cover? I think the cover is okay (boring), but I love the shot below. I think it’s beautiful!

Here are some tidbits from the interview via Celebitchy:

She’s such a rebel: “I’m a complete free spirit, so, even though you don’t see it, I still find time to have sex at night on the beach when no one’s around. Or roll into a bar and get [bleeped] up, and dance with my top off. It’s just that no one ever sees that, because I have great real friends who never let me do it when I would get caught.”

On her artifice: “I hate the truth so much that I would prefer a giant dose of bull[bleep] any day,” she says. Vogue interviewed Gaga in Japan where she says she finds her most ardent fans. “I think . . . it has to do with the obsession with fantasy. I think I sort of just fit right in over here.”

On her perfume: She said yes to Coty’s request on the condition that the company not only conjure scent notes to her specification but figure out how to create a liquid that appears black in the bottle, but when sprayed, becomes clear. (After all, she points out, “The fragrance is called Fame. It must be black. It must be enticing. You must want to lick and touch and feel it, but the look of it must terrify you.”)

That damn meat dress is back: The reinvention of the meat dress is one of thehighlights of the Born This Way Ball). “We were talking about putting the showtogether, and I said, OK, what if I was someone’s grandma and I was going to a concert tonight. How would I know that it was a Gaga show? And we all just sort of looked at each other and said,’The meat dress.’”

Why she makes music: “I don’t really make records for people to listen to and go, ‘Wow, she’s a genius.’ I’d really like you to order a drink, maybe kiss theperson you came with that evening, or rediscover something about your past that makes you feel even more brave.”

Did they photoshop away all her tattoos?

Lady Gaga reveals the title of her new album by getting it tattooed on her body!

Lady Gaga has revealed the title of her new album, in a picture with the word tattooed on her forearm. She tweeted, “new album, new ink”, showing the title “ARTPOP”.

“Make sure when writing about my new album/project ARTPOP that you CAPITALIZE the title,” she wrote. “*Its all in the details* good morning twitter!”

Gaga will release ARTPOP, her third album, early next year. She recently played a new song for a group of fans after getting ambushed in her car in NYC last month.

The singer is still touring in support of her last album, ‘Born This Way’, and starts off her European tour on August 14.

In other Gaga news, she will release her first fragrance ‘Fame’ later this month, and will make her movie debut in Robert Rodriguez’s ‘Machete Kills’ later this autumn.

Lady Gaga poses nude with tiny men crawling all over her body in her new fragrance ad!

You knew Lady Gaga’s perfume ad was going to be a bit shocking.

Today we’re getting our first look at the promotional pictures for her new perfume, Fame. The 26-year-old singer posted the picture on her Twitter account, saying ’Photo by STEVEN KLEIN. The First Ever Black Eau de Parfum. Model: Lady Gaga.’

Before she revealed the ad, she explained why she was feeling nervous about sharing the new picture.

‘I won’t lie I’m a bit nervous. its been a while since i’ve shared some work with you. But i’m so proud of Steven+I, we really did not sleep!’

In the new ad, Gaga is seen lying on her side, nude, with small men crawling all over her body.

Her new perfume is a black liquid that goes on clear, and it will be released next month.

Renato Semerari, president of Coty Beauty, said: ‘She is an artist that is never satisfied with the status quo – she always has this way of challenging everybody and trying to do something more, something different.

‘She has her own ideas and very often they’re very interesting and challenging…really, she’s not the one who says, “It’s OK, let’s move on and turn the page.” She’s always thinking, “Can we do more?”

‘This is a very stimulating partnership; and she’s pushed us with her ideas, we’ve come with our own ideas – and the combination of the two is very valuable.’

Coty hailed Gaga as ‘zeitgeist in a bottle’ and are delighted with her innovation.

Bernd Beetz, chief executive officer of Coty Inc., said: ‘Lady Gaga joins a legendary cast of talent for whom Coty has created scents.

‘Gaga’s launch represents my personal credo brought to life….Innovate or die! Absolutely everything about this launch is innovative, from the bottle, to the juice, to the lady herself….She’s zeitgeist in a bottle.’

Gaga explained the fragrance’s name relates to her belief that anyone can have fame.

She told WWD: ‘Fame is an illusion – if you really want it, anyone can have it.’

I have to admit, I’m really interested to find out what this perfume smells like. I don’t see myself buying it – but I would like to see (smell) what all the buzz is about!

FIRST LOOK: Lady Gaga’s new fragrance smells like “tears of a Belladona”!

A photo of Lady Gaga’s first-ever fragrance, Fame, leaked online yesterday afternoon (reportedly by an editor at Flare Magazine). Instead of throwing a fit, Gaga went with it, giving up some more information.

“Looks like photos of my perfume are being leaked. Oh you fashion editors I could just crinkle my hands at you!” she wrote, before posting her own photo of the bottle. The container is deep purple/black with a gold, spiked top. The front of the box says that it is a “black fluid.”

Gaga then tweeted the back of the box, which describes what all her Little Monsters will smell like when they wear it. The description explains that the fragrance has notes of “tears of belladonna, crushed heart of tiger orchidea with a black veil of incense, pulverized apricot and the combinative essences of saffron and honey drops.”

When asked by a fan on Twitter if Fame will be followed by a men’s cologne, Gaga replied, “My perfume was designed for women, but a lot of my gay friends wear it.”

Fame has long been in the works. Gaga originally signed a fragrance deal with Coty Inc. in September 2010, and rumor had it that it would be called Monster. Stephen Mormoris, senior vice president of global marketing in the Coty Beauty division, said at the time that they wanted to work with Gaga because she is a “phenomenon” and “a fascinating cultural force” and he hoped her mass appeal would “electrify” the market on behalf of his company.

In early 2011, months after the deal was announced, Gaga had a very colorful description for the perfume, noting that it would smell “like an expensive hooker.” “[Blood and semen] is in the perfume but it doesn’t smell like it,” she told an Australian radio station at the time. “You just get sort of the after feeling of sex from the semen and the blood is sort of primal. And the blood was taken from my own blood sample so it’s like a sense of having me on your skin.”

The fragrance will hit shelves in September, just in time for her next turn as a Vogue cover girl, MTV Style reports. September is shaping up to be a big month for the singer as she will also announce the name of her next album then.
