Yes, that’s right - Lady Gaga is naming her debut fragrance after all her fans, ‘Monster’. She calls her fans Little Monsters, named an album The Fame Monster, a song called “Monster” and a tattoo of the word. So it’s no shock she went with this name.

Last year, she promised said scent would smell like “blood and semen.” The scent comes out next year – and looks like it’ll be up against Madonna’s debut fragrance, ‘Truth or Dare’.

Lady Gaga continues to be the face of MAC’s Viva Glam, which she’s done successfully for the past year.

Lady Gaga has been the face of MAC‘s Viva Glam campaign for the past year–her lipstick is a pale nude color–and she’s been working on a fashion project with Nicola Formichetti for the cosmetics brand. Back in March, Gaga put out a call for fans to submit head shots of themselves which would be incorporated into a “masterpiece” of a dress.

Watch Gaga float and stare dreamily, and then release a tiny version of herself which flies away. All while wearing the tallest shoes I think she’s worn to date. The most important part, though, is that this is all to support MACs campaing to fight AIDS through the purchase of their Viva Glam lipsticks. Lady Gaga revealed her beauty regimen to People magazine, and it comes as no shock – coming from the queen of bizarre. She confesses she doesn’t cut her hair until it starts falling out from all the chemicals she puts on it.

A young Gaga was taught by her mother to wash her face with only Ivory soap, however she confessed that she goes to bed every night with makeup on her face (“That is not good for your skin, but I’m blessed with good genes”) — answering our question of how she gets that junk off…she doesn’t!

And on the topic of her locks, the brunette-turned-bleach-blonde said she periodically has to “get a chemical haircut because my blonde hair is falling out.”

Maybe it’s time to leave her hair alone!?

And that’s a good thing? I guess that’s a step up from smelling like “blood and semen”?

Speaking to Kyle and Jackie O on Australian radio station 2DayFM she said:

“The perfume smells like an expensive hooker! In terms of the process of creating the perfume, I wanted to extract the feeling and the sense of blood and semen from molecular structures. That’s where that came from. That is in the perfume but it doesn’t smell like it.

“You just get the after-feeling of sex from the semen and then the blood is sort of primal. It was taken out of my own blood sample, so it’s a sense of having me on your skin.”

Every time she starts talking about her perfume it totally turns me off. With that said, I’m totally interested to smell it.  But on you – not me!
