Kristen Stewart named “Best Dressed Woman in the World” by Glamour Magazine – surprised?

For the second year in a row, Kristen Stewart has been named the “Best Dressed Woman in the World.” THE WORLD? Really Glamour? What were you guys smoking the day you picked her? I think she dresses well – but to call her the BEST dressed woman in the world might be a bit of a stretch. Who’s with me?

She often seems happier in scruffy jeans and trainers than a posh frock. But it seems Kristen Stewart still has a few fashion lessons for her British contemporaries. The tomboy American actress has been declared the world’s best-dressed woman, ahead of Harry Potter star Emma Watson and the Duchess of Cambridge. It is the second year in a row Miss Stewart has topped the annual fashion list compiled by Glamour magazine.

The 23-year-old Twilight star was praised for her ‘personal rock-chick style’. Although she sometimes embraces high fashion on the red carpet, she often dresses down in her free time. CONTINUE READING… More »

Kristen Stewart tops the list of LEAST attractive actresses, according to poll

According to a new poll of British men, Kristen Stewart is the Hollywood actress men find least attractive!

The Twilight actress is more undesirable, according to the poll, than Sarah Jessica Parker and Lindsay Lohan.

REPORT: Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have broken up again!

The highest-placed Brit in the poll for gadget website MenKind.co.uk was The OC star Mischa Barton, who was ranked sixth, while Tilda Swinton came ninth.

Stewart – who had a fling with married director Rupert Sanders while dating movie hunk Robert Pattinson – was seen in her final Twilight film Breaking Dawn Part 2 last year.

The poll was held ahead of the Oscars, which are being staged in Los Angeles this weekend.

A spokesman for MenKind said: “Our Oscars poll has been a fascinating insight into the minds of British men – it’s shown that sexiness is far more than appearance.

“They were turned off by volatile and moody actresses as well as ice queens. And they don’t want to see unhealthily skinny starlets on the big screen.”

Top 10 least sexy Hollywood actresses:

1. Kristen Stewart
2. Sarah Jessica Parker
3. Lindsay Lohan
4. Denise Richards
5. Kirsten Dunst
6. Mischa Barton
7. Hilary Swank
8. Lucy Liu
9. Tilda Swinton
10. Uma Thurman

This cracks me up. MOST undesirable? More undesirable than Lindsay Lohan!? I think this poll proves that Kristen is more annoying, not necessarily less pretty. But who knows, I’m not a British man. Do you agree with the poll?

Kristen Stewart covers Vogue UK, says of going blonde for her new role “It was like learning an accent!”

Kristen Stewart covers the October issue of Vogue UK, in an interview that was definitely done before Twigate. Since her affair with married director Rupert Sanders became public back in July, Kristen has kept a very low profile. Vogue UK is her first major magazine cover since the fallout.

The 22-year-old actress reveals that living in the public eye is not as easy as people would think. “I know if you haven’t thought about how you want to present a very packaged idea of yourself then it can seem like you lack ambition. But, dude, honestly? I can’t. People expect it to be easy because there you are, out there, doing the thing that you want and making lots of money out of it. But, you know, I’m not that smooth. I can get clumsy around certain people. Like if I were to sit down and think, ‘OK, I’m really famous, how am I going to conduct myself in public?’ I wouldn’t know who that person would be!”

She went on to say “It would be a lot easier if I could, but I can’t.”

The actress had to go blonde for her role in the new film ‘On the Road’, and she reveals she wasn’t comfortable at all going lighter. “I feel like my whole body rejects it, but it was really important for the character. It was like learning an accent!”

In the movie Kristen plays Marylou, a member of the beat generation. The actress admits that it’s a time period that she can relate to. “There is always going to be that seam of people who want things differently to the standardized version. It’s not necessarily a rebellious thing, it’s just who they are. That world back then, it just seems freer to me than anything I could ever touch and I’m fully nostalgic for it, even though I wasn’t even alive then. It’s the loyalty aspect of it all. I love being on the periphery with a group of people who have the same values that I do.”

Kristen added: “People who don’t get off on fame, who just like the process of making movies and thrive.”

Interesting she talked about loyalty, no?

FIRST LOOK! Check out Kristen Stewart’s NEW Balenciaga Fragrance ad!

Kristen Stewart is the face of Balenciaga’s newest fragrance, ‘Florabatonica’, and now we have our first look at the beautiful ad!

In an interview with WWD, Stewart admitted she wasn’t sure how to pose for the ads. ”When I first stood there, I was like, ‘OK, do you want me to show the curves of the dress? Do you want me to stand like this? Like that?’ And they were like, ‘Just be comfortable.’”

Along with approving of the futuristic floral ad (shot by famed photographer Steven Meisel), she’s also 100 percent happy with the fragrance.

“There is something natural about it,” the On The Road actress explained. “It’s very alive. I think that as a young person wearing it — considering that I’ve never worn a scent — it kind of puts you on this level of, like, ‘Whoa, check me out.’”

The star also admitted that she was rather nervous to initially smell it. “I’m very lucky that I like the fragrance, because I would have done anything with [Balenciaga designer Nicolas Ghesquière],”she revealed. “And I’m a terrible liar.”

Florabotanica features notes of vetiver, amber and caladium-leaf accord, a (hybrid) rose, carnation and mint accord and is set to be released in September.

I can’t wait to smell the new fragrance! What do you think about the new ad?

Here’s more from WWD:

Kristen on what perfume is “about”: “On a base level, the reason you want to wear a fragrance is because you want to smell attractive,” said Stewart, sitting in a suite of Le Bristol hotel here, wearing a Balenciaga T-shirt, shorts and heels. “That in itself is a pretty mature idea, especially considering the teenager I was. I was never the one wearing my mom’s perfume and trying to be sexy. I was like hanging out with my brothers and doing the opposite of that.”

Kristen actually likes the way it smells: “I’m very lucky that I like thefragrance, because I would have done anything with [Balenciaga designer Nicolas Ghesquière],” continued the 22-year-old. “And I’m a terrible liar.” Stewart said she was relieved the first time she smelled Florabotanica. “There is something natural about it,” explained Stewart. “It’s very alive. I think that as a young person wearing it — considering that I’ve never worn a scent — it kind of puts you on this level of, like, ‘Whoa, check me out.’ ”

Kristen thinks it’s ART: “Even though, yes, it’s an ad and we’re selling afragrance — I don’t want to sound pretentious — but I want to be part of this art project,” she said. “I want to be around Nicolas when he gets excited about fabric. I want to see the look on his face when he sees me put on a dress.”

What she thinks of the ad: “I think that’s kind of perfect for this particular ad. Usually, a fragrance ad would definitely be like,” said Stewart, striking an exaggerated, sexy lounge pose on the couch. “When I first stood there, I was like, ‘OK, do you want me to show the curves of the dress? Do you want me to stand like this? Like that?’ And they were like, ‘Just be comfortable.’  I find when you do a really good photo shoot, you’ve unlocked something that you didn’t necessarily know you had in you,” said Stewart. “There are qualities that certain clothes, or certain environments and certain people, bring to the surface that can be surprising. But that doesn’t mean that they’re not authentic.”

She digs Brigitte Bardot: “I think the hottest chick that’s ever walked the earth is Brigitte Bardot, and I couldn’t be more different from her,” said Stewart. “So my style icons and stuff, even if I look up to them and think they’re really cool, I don’t think [they find their] way into my own sense of fashion.”

Kristen on her new role: Up next, actingwise, is a leading role in “Cali,” directed by Nick Cassavetes. She explained it’s about a couple “in the valley that gets involved with really strange people, really screw themselves over and become alienated, reinsert themselves into that world and try to survive. It’s really ‘Grindhouse’-y — extreme in every way.” To physically prepare for the part, Stewart will become tan and make her hair blonde. “I’m going to get into the best shape of my life,” she said. “I’m going to look like a stripper. I’m going to look like a p0rn star.”

She’s not a liar: “If you don’t know why someone is the way that they are, then you’re just playing a caricature of a girl,” she explained. “So if an emotional scene comes up or something, I never want to lie. I don’t want to think about my cat dying when I was younger. A lot of times, you’ll read a script and you can identify with things that are very surprising, things that kind of shock you about yourself. And the process of making the movie is finding out why those feelings occurred,” said Stewart. “Sometimes they’re not always easy to define.”

Kristen Stewart on the July cover of Vanity Fair!

Kristen Stewart lands the July cover of Vanity Fair. On the cover, she looks very beautiful in a gold sequinned dress and dramatic makeup. The actress wore haute couture for the magazine in photos shot around Paris.

Kristen gives a very candid interview about posing for pictures (“I look like sh-t in half my photos, and I don’t give a f–k”), her personal style, and how Twilight changed her life.

Here’s more from the interview, which you can read in full here.

“I have been criticized a lot for not looking perfect in every photograph,” Kristen Stewart tells Vanity Fair contributing editor Ingrid Sischy in July’s cover story. “I get some serious sh-t about it. I’m not embarrassed about it. I’m proud of it. If I took perfect pictures all the time, the people standing in the room with me, or on the carpet, would think, What an actress! What a faker! That thought embarrasses me so much that I look like sh-t in half my photos, and I don’t give a f–k. What matters to me is that the people in the room leave and say, ‘She was cool. She had a good time. She was honest.’ I don’t care about the voracious, starving sh-t eaters who want to turn truth into sh-t. Not that you can say that in Vanity Fair!”

On top of battling personal reluctance, Stewart also struggles with the public’s preconceived notions about her personality. “People have decided how they are going to perceive her,” Robert Pattinson tells V.F. of Stewart. “No matter how many times she smiles, they’ll put in the one picture where she’s not smiling.”

But for all her nose-thumbing at critics who demand perfection, she looks pretty perfect in the photographs from July’s Vanity Fair, in which she poses at locations across Paris in spring’s couture for contributing photographer Mario Testino. In some of the most glamorous photographs, Stewart wears haute couture at the ballet, posing with dancer Jérémie Bélingard in a pantless Jean Gaultier corset and dripping in Fabergé diamonds and emeralds, at right.

Of her personal style, she tells us she’s evolved into loving wearing “some cool sh-t” from the world’s most respected and avant-garde designers, although she wasn’t always attuned to the power of fashion. “Look at a picture of me before I was 15. I am a boy. I wore my brother’s clothes, dude! Not like I cared that much, but I remember being made fun of because I wasn’t wearing Juicy jeans. I didn’t even think about it. I wore my gym clothes. But it’s not like I didn’t care that they made fun of me. It really bothered me. I remember this girl in sixth grade looked at me in gym and was like, ‘Oh my God! That’s disgusting—you don’t shave your legs!”

Now past the initial sting of her harsh childhood critics, Stewart has developed into a wry and at-ease adult, and Sischy caught her in the mood for modest adventures—like when she takes the actress to a quiet, tucked-away table in the back of a Parisian seafood restaurant, where they are offered escargot, a dish that Stewart has never tried. After warily eyeing the snails, she dives right in—washing them down with white wine and bread—and says with a grin, “Pretty good. Though I just don’t want to eat a whole plate of them.”

Of her life as a major star, she reflects on the moment when she realized that Twilight had changed her life. “You can Google my name and one of the first things that comes up is images of me sitting on my front porch smoking a pipe with my ex-boyfriend and my dog. It was [taken] the day the movie came out. I was no one. I was a kid. I had just turned 18. In [the tabloids] the next day it was like I was a delinquent slimy idiot, whereas I’m kind of a weirdo, creative Valley Girl who smokes pot. Big deal. But that changed my daily life instantly. I didn’t go out in my underwear anymore.”

For her part, author Sischy sees “something so endearing, so human, about [Stewart’s] combination of bravado, kindness, self-preservation, self-assertion, and revved-up fierceness that I found her cheering. Of course, her idealism and drive to tell it as she sees it—the voracious, starving shit eaters be damned!–could be just a product of her youth. She could grow up to be another narcissistic snore, but my sense is that’s not in the cards here.”

I do like how candid Kristen is in her interviews. I can appreciate the honesty.

The photos are beautiful!
