Is the “Vampire Facelift” an actual treatment?

“First of all, there is no such thing as a “vampire facelift”. There is, however, a product that can be used which is mixed with your own blood as a platelet rich plasma to be injected into the skin to rejuvenate the skin and treat wrinkles.”

How Does It Work?

“We take the patient’s own blood which is then spun in a centrifuge. The safe and rapid preparation of natural autologous platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is then re-injected into the soft tissue of the area needing restoration.”

“Stem Cells on the platelets produce growth factors that slow down the look of aging, stimulate the production of collagen and improve the volume and texture of the skin. You see an improvement of texture in a short time.”

Where is it effective?

Kim Kardashian has already added a whole lot of swerve to her attention-grabbing curves, just halfway into her pregnancy – and she expects to get huge! The 32-year-old reality star, who is pregnant with her first child with Kanye West and expecting a baby girl in July, admits that she is going to be a large pregnant woman in the April 2013 issue of Cosmopolitan – and RadarOnline.com has the details.

“I feel good. Nothing’s slowed me down,” Kim says about her pregnancy so far, adding happily that when it comes to packing on the pregnancy pounds, that she expects “I’ll definitely be up there.”

Kim, who conceived the “happy surprise” baby in October during her birthday trip to Italy with West and is still married to NBA star Kris Humphries, believes that the timing of her pregnancy couldn’t be better.

“I’ve always said that I wanted kids, but I don’t think I ever would have been ready until now.”

One thing Kim isn’t looking forward to when it comes to the final months of her pregnancy, is giving up her beloved sky-high heels.

“I’m trying to prep myself for when I’m extremely pregnant, so I wore a wedge sneaker,” she explains. “I didn’t feel it; I’m not gonna lie. I can’t. But I’m trying.”

Kim Kardashian lands the April cover of Cosmpolitan, and inside the mag, the reality star talks marriage. While her own marriage to Kris Humphries only lasted 72 days, she’s not turned off by the whole thing as a result. She sees people like her sister, Khloe, and her husband, Lamar Odom, and thinks their speedy marriage has done just fine! (They were only dating for a month before they got MARRIED in 2009!)

“I saw fast marriages like Khloe and Lamar’s and that was what seemed to work. [Now] I say give it a good six months before you commit. Feelings change, even if it seems so lustful,” Kim tells Cosmopolitan in the magazine’s April issue.

Kim tells Cosmo that she and beau Kanye West are taking their time, when it comes to their relationship of 10 months. “Sometimes you’re just not ready,” she says. “A person could have it all, and you’re not ready for it all. But this is where I probably always should have been…[marriage] is something I know that we both want in our future, but I don’t have this sense of urgency about it. I have this best friend who understands me and helps me through all my tough experiences, and vice versa, you know? It just feels like this is it for me.”

Kim, who is scheduled to give birth to her first child with West in July, adds, “I’ve always said that I wanted kids, but I don’t think I ever would have been ready until now.”

Kim admits her views have become less conservative since sister Kourtney got pregnant in 2009. “I was like, ‘You’re not married! How could you do this?’ I was really firm and strict,” Kim tells Cosmo. “But she was like, ‘Marriage isn’t what I want.’ And later, I realized she had a better family life than I did.”

However, Kim and Kourtney’s brother Rob begs to differ. In January, he told People, “I’m so proud of my sisters, but I’ll be married before I have a baby.”

The reality TV starlet trusted stylist Nicola Formichetti to transform her style for an Elle Magazine shoot. Formichetti, who has styled other A-list celebs such as Lady Gaga, admits that dressing Kim was a challenge. “People wouldn’t lend me the clothes. But that’s fashion snobbery,” he explained in the issue.

Fashion snobbery aside, Tom Ford, Oscar De La Renta, and Roberto Cavalli all lent their clothes, and Kim looked gorgeous from head-to-toe (but we’re not so sure about the drag queen makeup).

With a baby on the way, this could be one of Kim’s last shoots before she starts some serious baby bumpin’.
