Kim Kardashian tells Harper’s Bazaar that she’s on a diet after gaining 10 lbs while filming reality show

Kim Kardashian has revealed that she works hard to maintain her figure.

In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, the socialite and reality star explained that she restricts her intake of junk food as she will eat too much of it if not careful.

“I’m on a diet. I need to be,” she said. “I love to eat – Kit Kats or cookies-and-cream ice cream. I need sugar, like, five times a day.”

Kardashian admitted that she changed her eating habits after packing on the pounds while filming her new series Kourtney & Kim Take New York in the city.

“I worked out once. I gained, like, ten pounds,” she recalled.

“All the papers were like, ‘Kim’s pregnant!’ I ate the nuts on the street corner, the hot dogs, the street meat. It was not a joke.”

Kim Kardashian says her boobs are real – do you believe her?

They’re real — and they’re fabulous. That’s the message Kim Kardashian wants to get off her, well, chest during a Thursday appearance on Piers Morgan Tonight with older sis Kourtney, 31.

“There’s a lot of plastic surgery rumors that swirl and I’m the first one to be super honest,” says the Kourtney and Kim Take New York star, 30, who admits to trying Botox. “And so everyone was talking about that, saying that they must be, you know, fake.”

The truth? “They are real,” says Kim, in the video above. “They are completely 100 percent real.”

And when host Piers Morgan tells the reality star, “You just look like you must have had [surgery],” she responds, “That’s what Spanx and masking tape are for.”

However the eldest Kardashian — and mom to son Mason, 13 months — had a more permanent solution for her bust.

“These babies are not real,” she laughs while pointing at a cardboard cutout of herself. “I used to make fun of [Kim] when we were little and then I went and got surgery.”

Kim Kardashian opens up to Glamour Magazine about her body image – and more!

Kim Kardashian is Feburary’s cover girl for Glamour Magazine, and inside Katie Kouric interviews Kim on body issues – and what it’s like to be a sex symbol.

Katie Couric: Because a lot of young women read this magazine, I wanted to ask you about issues you’ve had with your body in the past and growing up and being bullied. You developed early, is that true?

Kim Kardashian: Kourtney probably bullied me the most because she hadn’t developed. She was always making fun of me. I mean, when I was 11 I was a C-cup and I got my period. I was just insecure.

Katie Couric: But how did you sort of come to love, accept and appreciate the body you had?

Kim Kardashian: I remember I would sit in the bathtub, and I would put a hot washcloth on my boobs and think, Please, Lord, just please, I don’t want to grow any bigger. I would cry. My mom would say, “You are going to love this one day.” And she was like, “You’re Armenian. Look at all your aunts. They’re super curvy, and this is your family. This is who you are.” We were raised around all of our Armenian cousins, and I know a lot about the culture. So I think that made me confident in who I am.

Katie Couric: How do you feel about being a sex symbol? Is it empowering or degrading?

Kim Kardashian: It’s definitely powerful. I don’t find myself as sexy as everyone thinks. I’m a lot more insecure than people would assume, but with little stupid things. When I get dressed, I’m always so indecisive.
