NEW from Kiehls! Photo-Age High-Potency Spot Treatment

I have very sensitive skin, and as I get older, the sun is taking its toll. By the end of the summer, I will have a patch of sun spots that are less than cute. I hate it! I looked into finding sun-spot removers, but there weren’t a lot to pick from. I was happy to get a sample of this product, see if it really works!

I use it twice a day, in the morning and before bed. I’ve noticed the sun spots are slowly going away. I’ve been using it for two weeks, and I’m confident that in a month or so these spots of mine shall be gone like the summer sun! I highly reccommend it!

High-Potency Spot Treatment powerfully reverses UV damage three ways: provides instant luminosity and radiance, reverses visible damage on skin surface and inhibits invisible damage from rising to the surface.

How to use: Apply on areas of concern for targeted action (such as on intense, stubborn spots) or apply over the entire face and décolleté for preventative action (such as blotchiness and hyperpigmentation).

In celebration of Earth Day today, I’m thrilled to share with you Kiehl’s Limited Edition Label Art Series and their celebrity partners Julianne Moore, Jeff Koons, Pharrell Williams and Malia Jones, as captured by David LaChapelle.

100% of net proceeds of this series, a set of Limited Edition labels on their 100% natural and ECOCERT-certified organic Açaí Damage-Protecting Toning Mist, will benefit Rainforest Alliance.

“100% of Kiehl’s Net Profits up to $200,000 will benefit the Rainforest Alliance.”

In honor of Earth Day, Kiehl’s Since 1851, the venerable New York-based purveyor of fine quality skin and hair care is pleased to announce a Limited Edition Label Art series, where 100% of net proceeds will benefit the RAINFOREST ALLIANCE, dedicated to conserving biodiversity and ensuring sustainable livelihoods. To commemorate the philanthropic success of “Friends of Kiehl’s” Earth Day 2009 – which raised $100,000 for WATERKEEPER ALLIANCE – the company is striving to double the donation by raising $200,000 for the RAINFOREST ALLIANCE. To support the launch, celebrity photographer David LaChapelle will capture each personality in his unique style.

Staying true to Kiehl’s longstanding mission of supporting initiatives to help preserve and protect the environment, four “Friends of Kiehl’s” have created Limited Edition labels for 100% natural and ECOCERTcertified organic, Açaí Damage-Protecting Toning Mist. Utilizing a high concentration of super-antioxidant Organic Açaí Berry from the Brazilian Amazon, and combined with Aloe Vera, Lavender and Rosemary Essential Oils, the anytime toning mist refreshes and soothes skin, while providing a sheer layer of antioxidant protection against environmental aggressors.

The Limited Edition series features socially conscious influencers from all walks of life – an Actor, a Musician, an Athlete and an Artist – depicting their vision of social responsibility.

Kiehl’s introduces Celeb-Designed Labels to benefit Rainforest Alliance

It’s that time of year again—Earth Day, that is—and we’re proud to share Kiehl’s latest environmental initiative, a Limited Edition Label Art Series to honor Earth Day and raise funds for environmental causes.

As you know, Kiehl’s has long had a strong commitment to the environment—not only do we have an ongoing “Recycle and Be Rewarded” program in our free-standing stores, but you might remember that last year, we raised $100,000 for Waterkeeper Alliance in a charitable partnership with Adrian Grenier, Kelly Slater, Erykah Badu and Parsons The New School for Design.

This year, in a new partnership, Kiehl’s collaborates with actress Julianne Moore, musician Pharrell Williams, artist Jeff Koons and pro-surfer Malia Jones to raise funds and awareness for the Rainforest Alliance, which is dedicated to sustaining biodiversity and ensuring sustainable livelihoods.

For this initiative, each partner created a Limited Edition label for Kiehl’s Açaí Damage-Protecting Toning Mist – itself part of a skincare collection that is not only Eco Cert certified organic, but is also the FIRST SKINCARE RANGE to ever receive gold standard Cradle to Cradle certification – meaning that it is made with the least amount of waste from start to finish.

100% of net proceeds (amounting to $200,000) will be raised worldwide to benefit Rainforest Alliance with this collection. (Please note: there is a slight variation to the bottle assortment available internationally—the bottles available in the US will feature labels designed by Jeff Koons, Pharrell Williams, Malia Jones and Julianne Moore as shown above.) To support the project, celebrity photographer David LaChapelle will capture each personality in his unique style.

Each mist is $26. The collection will be available on and in all Kiehl’s Since 1851 stores in April.

Kiehl’s eliminates winter skincare woes with NEW Ultra Facial Kits‏

In response to customer feedback, Kiehl’s Since 1851, the venerable New York-based purveyor of fine quality skin and hair care is introducing two Ultra Facial Kits. Inspired by Kiehl’s classic Ultra Facial Moisturizer, a favorite since the early 1970s that provides superior moisture, these kits consist of hydrating formulations enriched with restoring Squalane to deliver restored and healthier skin – ideal for the harsh winter weather.

Formulated for all skin types, each product in the Ultra Facial Kits is infused with a blend of Kiehl’s classic ingredients including Squalane*, Apricot Kernel Oil, Avocado Oil, and Vitamin C and E – providing moisture and hydration at every step.

Step 1 – Cleanse – Ultra Facial Cleanser is a mild cleanser specially formulated with a sugar-derived glycoside foaming agent to thoroughly cleanse skin and remove make-up, without stripping skin of its natural oils.

Step 2 – Tone – Ultra Facial Toner is a mild, yet effective alcohol-free toner that gently removes surface debris and any remaining residue while providing hydration and comfort to skin.

Step 3 – Moisturize – One kit includes Ultra Facial Cream, a 24 hour hydrator, helps reduce skin’s moisture loss while drawing and absorbing moisture from the air. Skin is visibly well-balanced, particularly in harsh weather conditions. The other kit offers Ultra Facial Moisturizer SPF 15, a preparation with a light, moisturizing texture that will leave the skin feeling smooth and conditioned after use.
