New! Kiehl’s Nightly Refining Micro-Peel Concentrate

kiehls micro peel

In one word WOW! I didn’t know my skin need refining until I stumbled onto this miracle in a bottle. Of all the products I have tried in 8 years of testing this is hands down  the fastest  working product I’ve tried. The results are fast and amazing.

The solution is a clear serum with a bit of viscosity but overall very lightweight. The bottle comes with a hand little dropper so you can get just the right amount to work into your skin. Just apply and gently press into your skin, and don’t let the word peel scare you. I was worried it was burn my skin but it felt light and absorbed right away. While I couldn’t see or feel it on my skin the next morning the results were in the mirror. My skin looked fresh, bright and heck down right radiant. I almost always use some sort of light foundation but since I started using this on Monday I haven’t worn foundation a single day.

It’s gentle enough to use daily and works to bring out your most beautiful youthful skin. I love Kiehl’s but this new Micro-Peel Concentrate made this girl a lifetime devotee. Please don’t ever discontinue this amazing product.

Cool Weather Skin Protection

fall2

I love Fall its one of my favorite times of year. The one thing I don’t love is how the cooler temps and wind can leave my hands and skin dry, itchy and just downright icky looking. Here are two great products I have been using as the temps drop and winds have picked up. They will definitely be Fall and Winter staples for me.

kiehls hand salve

This ain’t your momma’s hand cream! Kiehl’s Ultimate Strength Hand Salve is the cure for even the driest hands, and I don’t know how or why I lived through a winter before without it. When I first read the name I thought this was going to be a bit too heavy, but its a thick rich lotion that is easy to apply and absorbs right away and doesn’t leave a residue. The best part is how quickly it hydrates my skin and my skin stays soft and smooth all day even after repeated hand washing.

If you are prone to dry skin in the cooler months don’t miss out on this products. Its also would make a great gift for anyone in your life who works in industrial work, manual labor or the gardener in your life. It’s a must have for Fall and Winter. And when you purchase this limited edition tube 100% of the profits goes to AMFAR, the foundation for AIDS research.

New! Kiehl’s Daily Reviving Concentrate

20150928_115123 (2)

With combo skin that tends to get very shiny I always have a pang of fear before applying any oil based product. While my mind knows the benefits of high quality oils I still get the panic of oil leads to more grease.  Kiehl’s new Daily Reviving Concentrate put my fears to rest and proved how great oils can be for even shine prone skin. I have been using this daily for just over 3 weeks and love the results.

First thing I noticed was how great this oil smells, a light citrus that is so refreshing in the morning. There is a small dropper you use  and just a drop or two is enough for full coverage, one bottle will go a long way. The oil is very light and absorbs instantly, there is no residue or greasy feeling. After the first use my skin felt hydrated and smooth and I noticed as the day wore on I didn’t get my usual mid day shine. After a few weeks  my skin feel amazing and looks much firmer and more radiant. This will remain a part of my daily routine.
