Introducing Kendall Jenner for Modern Muse Le Rouge

Be Daring. Be An Inspiration.

Estée Lauder unveils a daring new facet of modern femininity – Modern Muse Le Rouge, a new fragrance
inspired by the glamorous, more provocative side of a Modern Muse. Le Rouge reflects the woman who is
confident and sexy. She never goes unnoticed. It’s all about her signature color of red – which embodies her
style, attitude and undeniably powerful effect.

The Le Rouge Muse dares to inspire. She commands a reaction with her boldness, timeless glamour and
enviable confidence. Her style and presence always make an impression. She is bold, daring and sexy; she’s a
provocative inspiration to others.

A Fruity Floral Oriental scent, Modern Muse Le Rouge is a sexy contrast of rich roses awakened by ripe fruits
with a velvet cream accord that captures the drama of this muse’s personality. The innovative “dualimpression”
fragrance structure allows women to experience the fragrance through two contrasting accords:

  • Ripened Roses Accord: This facet of the fragrance captures the undeniable boldness of the Le Rouge
woman and the color. Juicy fruitiness of Bourgeon de Cassis and Raspberry, contrasted with vibrant
Pink Pepper and Saffron blends with the floral richness of Bulgarian Rose and the petally freshness of
    Rose Centifolia.
  • Velvet Cream Accord: Her sexy, provocative sense of style and dramatic presence are expressed
through an addictive blend of full-bodied Madagascar Vanilla and the textural muskiness of Ambrette,
refined with earthy, seductive Vetiver and Patchouli – and freshened with the lush femininity of
    Magnolia Flower and Jasmine.

“It was not just about capturing the scent of red, it was about capturing a state of mind, a vibrant, dramatic
attitude,” says Karyn Khoury, Senior Vice President, Corporate Fragrance Development Worldwide, The Estée
Lauder Companies. “This woman inspires others through her unwavering confidence, glamour and
sophistication. She lives her life to be noticed – and every ingredient in this scent was carefully selected to
reflect that.”

Kendall and Kylie Jenner made $100,000 each off their nail polish line with OPI

Another day, another dollar!

Kendall and Kylie Jenner launched their nail polish line with Nicole by OPI called “Kardashian Kolors” in 2011, and it was a very profitable venture. The 17 and 16 year olds named their polishes “All Kendall’ed Up,” “Kendall on the Katwalk,” “Rainbow in the S-ylie” and “Wear Something Spar-kylie,” as part of their collection with Kim, Kourtney and Khloe.

Kendall and Kylie were just 13 and 15 when the polish line launched, and it was extremely profitable for the girls. obtained a copy of documents filed in Los Angeles court last year, revealing that the five sisters were offered $600,000 total and decided to split it evenly. Kendall and Kylie each made $100,000 for lending their names to the line through 2012.

What did they have to do to earn that six-figure paycheck? Not much. The girls had to attend a one-day photo shoot and a one-day media tour, as well as tweet and blog about the polishes on their own time. They also agreed to “use reasonable efforts” not to promote any other nail lacquer.

Since then, Kendall and Kylie’s fame has skyrocketed and both have gone on to secure more business deals. Together, they have a PacSun clothing collection and have endorsed Venus Gillette razors. Kendall has developed a lucrative modeling career and is currently one of the faces of Agua Bendita Swimwear.

OK! Magazine reported they make $5,000 per episode of E!’s “Keeping Up With the Kardashians.” Kendall allegedly commands up to $5,000 per promotional tweet, while Kylie can bring in $3,000.

Damn these Jenner girls!

Kendall Jenner Poses without Makeup

The 17-year-old Keeping Up With the Kardashians star Kendall Jenner, sat down to discuss her modelling aspirations in an interview with V Magazine. She dishes on her famous family and giving up reality TV to pursue modeling.

PS: When you come to New York, do you get recognized a lot?
KJ Yeah, I’ve been trying to keep it low key when I have been here, I haven’t been recognized much. Taking a lot of taxi cabs, wearing sunglasses… but yeah, when I’m here with my family, everybody knows which hotel we’re staying at. It’s a little bit crazier.

Well we know your mom is so low profile, so.
KJ Oh, exactly.

Do you have any concerns coming into modeling, having done TV? Do you think that you have some barriers to break down in terms of being taken seriously as a model?
KJ One hundred percent. I don’t think some people take me very seriously. When I started off, I was way more of a personality in modeling and it wasn’t like, what I wanted to be exactly. I want to be more high fashion; I want to be more editorial, but hopefully I’ll just prove myself.

Who are some of your favorite designers that you would like to model for?
KJ I mean of course the big ones: Chanel and Dolce & Gabbana. All those big ones are my ultimate dream.

Which photographers are your favorites, and who would you most like to work with?
KJ I’ve actually this week gotten to shoot with some pretty incredible photographers. Working with Russell James was like a dream. I went to shoot with Greg Kadel yesterday and it was really incredible.

Are you more interested in runway or editorial?
KJ Editorial more, but I do runway. I didn’t think I’d want to do it but I’ve grown a love for it; it’s so fun for me.

If you had an agent or someone that hired you and they told you that to take modeling seriously, they’d want you to stop doing the TV show with your family, would you stop doing the show?
KJ I’ve never gotten that question before… Um, yeah. Probably.

Good answer. Not that you should, but it shows that you’re dedicated. Are you thinking of moving to New York?
KJ I mean, I love L.A., and I don’t mind flying out here whenever I have to. And I’m such a family person, and my whole family is over there, and all of my friends, I mean, I’d make new friends, but I don’t know.

Do you like New York?
KJ For a certain amount of time. It gets claustrophobic. I like having space.
