Rumor Mill: Kate Moss will bare all on Playboy’s 60th anniversary cover!

Yesterday a story hit the web claiming that Kate Moss will be Playboy’s 60th anniversary cover girl. Now This News claims they saw a leaked internal memo confirming that Moss will pose for the shoot in London THIS WEEK, even though the issue won’t hit shelves until January 2014.

If true, the milestone issue will be published as Mossy celebrates her own personal landmark – turning 40 on January 16.

She’ll join a long list of celebs and models, such as Marilyn Monroe and Kim Kardashian, who have bared all to appear on the cover of the publication’s flagship US edition, which was famously founded by Hugh Hefner. Fellow Brit model Daisy Lowe covered the September 2011 issue in daisy-dappled latex, although she later said she was a little “freaked out” by quite how much of her body was on show in the accompanying shoot.

No stranger to nudity, we’re sure Kate won’t have the same problem. Just a matter of weeks ago she appeared on the cover of V Magazine naked but for a scantily-clad Rihanna draped over her, and showed us exactly how her garden grows (if you know what we mean) in a Tim Walker-photographed shoot for LOVE magazine – although Now This News seem adamant that we “definitely won’t see her hoo-ha” this time.

Have to say, Kate Moss would be the perfect choice! She’s gorgeous!

Rihanna and Kate Moss strip down for racy new V Magazine photo shoot!

Rihanna and Kate Moss get together for a steamy new V Magazine shoot!

The two appear in the March 2013 issue of the magazine, and the pictures are hot!

The much-hyped editorial features Rihanna photographed with Moss in all sorts of suggestive, cuddly poses: Rihanna naked with Kate on top, Kate naked with Rihanna on top, the pair pulling their faces thisssss close together… you get the idea. The semi-racy shoot is par for the course for both women as well as Mario Testino, a fashion photographer who always brings out the sexy in his subjects.

It’s also par for the course for a magazine to stick RihannaorKate Moss on a major cover. V magazine has gone all out and done both. Way to be, V.

Kate Moss to Front Kérastase Couture Styling Line!

Kate Moss has been announced as the face of Kerastase’s new Couture Styling line, which will debut mid-May in French salons! It will mark the first time the L’Oreal-owned professional hair-care brand has had an international face.

Moss was the obvious choice, according to Françoise Lehmann, worldwide general manager of Kérastase, who described the products in the 11-unit collection as being about style and liberty of movement.

“Who better than she can incarnate at once style, modernity that’s the most absolute, the most aspirational and at the same time the refusal of dictates, the refusal of codes and the refusal of constraints?” Lehmann asked.

Moss was photographed by Sølve Sundsbø for the Kérastase images that will appear in salons and in print advertisements, primarily in single-page formats.

She’s so gorgeous! She could sell anything!

Kate Moss and Rimmel New Super Pro Nail Color Collection for Spring 2013

For Spring 2013  Rimmel London is releasing the new Kate Moss Super Pro nail polish collection. Here’s a video interview with Kate Moss, where you can see many of the shades in this collection:

In an interview on the Telegraph, Moss had this to say about the new Super Pro line:

Speaking about Rimmel polishes, for whom she is the face, Moss revealed that she’d always used the brand’s pots: “the thick brush… it was always just really easy that I could do it myself.”

“I’m really good at painting, and other people’s. I like doing it. It’s one of the things I like to do on holiday – a line up of all the girls and make their nails look nice.”

But this time around, for her new Super Pro Collection by Rimmel, the colours have got better. Moss said choosing the shades came instinctively: “something would inspire me whether it’s, you know, a band or a film or some kind of character – Debbie Harry, you know in Studio 54.”

Moss revealed that her favourite colour in the collection was Soul Sessions (a pale beige-pink). “I do like punk rock” she explained, but I’m quite a neutral girl so I think the Soul Sessions colour I quite like, it’s done but not making a statement.”

As for Moss’s nails tips?

Don’t do matchy matchy lips and nails: “on a set it would be a big no no..it’s always a clash.”
