Sneak peek at new Burberry ad featuring Kate Moss and Cara Delevinge!

Burberry announced this morning via Instagram that Cara Delevinge and Kate Moss will star in the brand’s new fragrance campaign, which will debut later this year.

Of course, the Internet has already gone abuzz with excitement, reposting the photo on tons of fashion social media accounts.

Moss, who at 40, still has plenty of staying power in the industry and Delevigne, who has become the star of pretty much every runway and has even been referred to as “the new Kate Moss,” are two of the biggest names in fashion. Add that to the fact that the two appear to be friends, and it was only a matter of time before they teamed up for a project.

Try to contain your excitement for the greatness this ad will undoubtedly bring. In the meantime, hopefully this Instagram photo can hold you over until it comes out.

Can’t wait to see the whole campaign!

Here it is! At long, last, Kate Moss’s Playboy cover has finally been released. It’s amazing, no? I love it! I think it’s not cheesy and is totally classy! Not only is it Playboy’s 60th Anniversary issue, it’s also Kate’s 40th birthday celebration. Here are some highlights from Kate’s issue.

On privacy: “I don’t want to hang my dirty laundry out for Hello! and for people to know all the ins and outs of my life… I don’t get why it would be interesting. I’m not that different. And also, now with Instagram and everything, everyone’s so on their phones that even when I’m in a restaurant like this, where you wouldn’t expect it, someone will come up and ask to get a picture with me. I’m like, ‘No!’”

Her signature cocktail: “Well, I have a friend at the Hemingway Bar at the Hotel Ritz in Paris, an English guy called Colin. I’ve been staying at the hotel since I was 17, and I’ve spent a lot of time in the Hemingway Bar. So my drink is the French 76, which is vodka, lemon juice, and sugar topped up with champagne. Love! Two of those and you’re like, ‘Oh, life is amazing!’ It’s heaven.”

On if she ever envisioned another life for herself: “No. I was, like, a child when I started. I was 14. If it hadn’t happened, I don’t know what would have happened to me. I would be in Croyden [the neighborhood south of London where she grew up], working in a bar, probably. I wanted to be at the center of things. I love working with creative people, and there was none of that where I came from. As soon as I was given a chance I took it.”

Okay – I want the “French 76″ now! That sounds delicious!

The highest paid model in the world is…… (for the SEVENTH year in a row!)

Forbes has announced the top-ten highest paid models from 2013, and you-know-who made #1 for the SEVENTH year in a row! Gisele Bundchen’s $42 million topped even her husband’s (Tom Brady) income for the year. She is light-years above the #2 spot, which went to Miranda Kerr with $7.2 million.

Forbes’ list includes a couple newcomers this year, like Joan Smalls and Liu Wen. Doutzen Kroes and Alessandra Ambrosio slipped off the list this year.

So why did Gisele make SO MUCH more money than everyone else? Sources say it’s her sandal-line and other endorsement deals that set her apart.

1. Gisele Bündchen: $42 million (above)

2. Miranda Kerr: $7.2 million

3. Adriana Lima: $6 million

4. Kate Moss: $5.7 million

Kate Moss is bronzed on the cover of Pop Magazine!

Kate Moss is a fashion icon! The supermodel has been at the top of her game for over two decades, and as recognition of that, Pop magazine had her bronzed!

The 39-year-old graces the Autumn/Winter cover of Pop magazine, a biannual British fashion bible. Unlike her previous two covers for the glossy, however, Moss is featured encased in a bronze bodysuit dreamed up by artist Allen Jones in the new issue. She is the archetypal “mannequin,” no?

The timing of this cover coincides with a Christie’s auction that will be putting the aforementioned image up for sale along with a slew of other Moss-themed items. Photographs of the model taken by Annie Leibovitz, Bruce Weber, Mario Testino, Sam Taylor-Wood and Irving Penn will be going under the hammer as well as works like Nick Knight’s 18-carat gold sculpture of Moss. The items are valued at $1.5 million.

Gert Elfering, the German collector behind the Christie’s auction, considers Moss a “living icon,” and told the Associated Press, “Kate is the ultimate modern muse and we will be seeing her images in major museums and private collections for years to come.”

What do you think? Is Kate a fashion “icon”?
