The Official Royal Wedding Web Site Is Launched!

Prince William and fiancee Kate Middleton are about to reveal details on the bride-to-be’s wedding dress and more on their newly launched website. The purpose of the site is to celebrate the upcoming royal wedding.

The palace has also added a news site to its roster of social media – there are royal-couple Facebook, Twitter (@ClarenceHouse) and Flickr accounts, as well as the Royal Channel on YouTube – says this will be the first place for fans to learn details of Kate’s eagerly anticipated dress.

Also planned for the site: a video stream of the April 29 wedding.

“On the day itself, the site will be the first place to view information, such as the details of Miss Middleton’s wedding dress,” reads a statement.

The official The Royal Wedding Web site was launched Wednesday by St. James’s Palace, where William and brother Prince Harry maintain an office.

Officials working for the couple will use the Web site as the official information service to dispense regular announcements on details leading up to the wedding day. They promise “exclusive content, including photo galleries, features, videos” and links to important info for visitors on the day (in addition to London tourist tips).

“Subject to further planning work, the Web site may feature a live Web stream broadcast of the wedding itself,” a statement said.

Kate Middleton’s Nickname Becomes New Nail Polish Shade

Are you obsessed with the royals? Follow every move Kate Middleton makes? You’re in luck! There’s a new royal wedding-themed nail polish that you’re going to love!

This March, Butter London will release a glittery new shade – with a nod to Kate Middleton’s long-awaited nuptials – called, “No more Waity, Katie.”

The limited-edition nail laquer is grayish-blue and glitter-infused, according to Nonie Créme, Butter London’s creative director. And of course, it gives a cheeky nod to Kate’s pre-engagement nickname, “Waity Katie.”

The nail care company, a cult favorite that prides itself on selling chemical-free products, will ship the nail polish internationally. It will retail for around $22.

Pre-ordering on zuneta.com for “No More Waity, Katie” will begin in the first week of March, and the product will officially launch the second week of the month.

No word on whether or not Kate will wear the polish herself!

PS: For $22 – it better be something fantastic. I can’t imagine ever spending that much on one bottle of polish! It better glow with royalty!
