Ok this looks pretty cool, and from the reviews are really good. Might be time to make my first Kat Von D makeup purchase.
Kat Von D Shade Shifter Eyeshadow
What it is:
An innovative eye shadow with a chameleon-like, color-shifting shade.
What it does:
Change your view and change colors with this bold, multidimensional shadow. Adorn your lids with the lustrous pigment and watch as the hue alters, depending on the angle of view and available lighting. Kat Von D is launching another clothing line collection, and she Tweeted a sneak peek just a few minutes ago! She wrote, “SKULLS! Can’t wait for these silk scarves to come out!”
Following the highly successful launch of her Fall/Winter 2010 clothing line collection,“Love Letters,” Kat von D is ready to launch her 2012 Spring/Summer collection entitled “Treasure Coast” set to be available February 14. She has already received high praise for her Fall/Winter line previously featured on the Huffington Post, CNN Entertainment and Glamour. Now, her Spring/Summer collection’s lookbook found on her Kat Von D Los Angeles clothing line’s website is expected to exceed the high expectations already set by fans and fashionistas alike.
“My customer is looking for pieces that can mesh easily with their personal style. It was important that we use textures and fabrics that will not only feel luxurious but also become treasures in their own right,” says Kat.
Kat held very true to that notion while creating “Treasure Coast.” Although many pieces feature intricate detailing and unique styling, they are also very wearable and can fit into most peoples’ everyday styles.
“Treasure Coast” features simplistic, but intricate pencil skirts such as the Diving Bell skirt, as well as comfortable, yet stylish dresses like the Galleon Dress. Kat von D has also added long, loose pants and comfy short shorts to the mix, such as the Voyager Trouser and Luna Shorts. Of course, she’s also made some updates to favorites from the “Love Letters” line with innovative takes on leggings, fringe sweaters and cut-out tops.
It’s now up to the fashion critics to determine if she’s outdone her previous collection. For more info, please visit KatVonDlosangeles.com/.
I love the idea of her putting her sketches on clothing. I’m more into that – than I am her just designing clothes. I’m not a fan of her clothes. But I actually really like this scarf!

Kat Von D has just launched her new clothing line she’s calling ‘Love Letters.’ She debuted the new clothes on her website KatVonDLosAngeles.com. The The Fall 2011 lookbook is complete with staple “Kat” items, like lots of black, lace, military coats, and the occasional ripped sweater.
Basically they look like the clothes she wears, which I guess is the point?
She wrote:
“The purpose of me creating this clothing line is simply to practice and share what Mom taught me: Express yourself through your art – whether it’s your drawings in a sketchpad, tattoos on your skin, the shade of your lipstick, or the clothes that you wear.”

What do you think? Would you wear them?

Kat Von D just posted this picture on Twitter showing her new leggings, inspired by her own diary!
“Rockin’ the “Diary” leggings from the KatVonD clothing line today! Script taken from my actual diary entries” she wrote.
I think it’s a cool idea! What do you think – would you wear them?
(I’m trying to read what it says!)
